We've organised a cremation and then a small memorial with mine and my brother's families at her old house. Then I we'll spread her ashes where we put Dad's.

Only one person at a time is ever cremated at there are incredibly strict rules and procedures that ensure that not only is it definitely your loved one that is placed in the cremator, but it is only their ashes you receive afterward.

In extremely rare cases a family may request that two people are cremated together, for example, a parent and their infant, however, in these circumstances Government approval must be obtained by the family.

There is no way for more than one person to fit in the cremator, and there are stringent processes in place to ensure the chamber is thoroughly cleaned between each use.
