The inspiration of Upcycled Art by Eliska has come from trying to do something about all the "rubbish" people throw out.
I find old, neglected canvases, wash, fix and paint them, giving them a chance for a new home and new appreciation.

Recycled Art by Eliska
The idea of Recycled Art by Eliska is that I believe that everyone can contribute to make our world better and more sustainable. Walking and biking on Melbourne streets I have realised that people are throwing out so much stuff and it is not only furniture that you will see on the roads, there are also old canvases, that are laying there, neglected, predetermined to end up in a landfill. I have decided to give them another chance. I bring them home, wash them, fix them and paint them. They can then go and be proudly hanged on a wall once more. Thank you for buying Recycled Art by Eliska and helping to minimize our waste.
