Sometimes when freshening up existing highlights you don’t need to add more foils and can just clean out those ends using a hand painting technique
This helps clean up the old blonde, gets rid of brassiness and gives a fresh canvas to apply the toner

So instead of cramming in as many foils as possible to lighten our clients hair we brighten around the face with some face framing foils then scattered more throughout the rest of the hair to add brightness without compromising the condition
