Hey all, this shirt I designed is for sale and nearly sold out at local activist hotspot Cafe Gummo! I decided to use most of my share (40% out of 50%) to donate to Olive Kids, an Australian charity that supports children in Palestine.
The rest is going to help Gummo with the increased security costs after their bar was attacked by NSN (National Socialist Network aka N***s) at a SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice) led fundraiser for Black People's Union and White Rose Society.
SOLIDARITY SHIRT ALERT:
Due to recent events you may have seen in the tabloids, we've decided that getting professional security in from time to time is a good idea.
For us, for the punters, and for our neighbourhood, so that we can mitigate some risks associated with what we do.
To help pay these seccie legends on the door we are rolling out these sick new soli shirts at the Oi gig tomorrow.
$35 bucks a go, here's the breakdown where the bucks are going:
50% : Security costs (and maybe a new mic stand for Gummo, reference the image on the shirt)
40% to Olive Kids a charity for children in Palestine
10% to the amazing artist Pippin the Stripping Cripple
They are a limited run and we'll keep selling them until we sell out. Get em while they're hot!
"They can kill us but they can never have our obedience. Strength to the Cardiff rioters"
Graffiti in solidarity with the rebellion in Ely, a working class district of Cardiff in Wales on the night of the 22 and 23 May 2023.
Rioting broke out following the death of two teenage boys in a car crash on the estate during a police chase.
The Police initially denied there was a car chase, though CCTV footage soon surfaced disproviing the police lies.
Up to 12 South Wales Police officers were reportedly injured in the riot and, multiple vehicles were set on fire.
Doctor: "so, where does it hurt?"

Art therapy is genuinely great. I will take any opportunity to further my practice and and I want to shout out the delightful Fee for providing such amazing insight and confidence in creating. Here is a paint pour I did with her a few months ago.

CW: anti blackness, police brutality. Not graphic descriptions but present.
Sinead O' Conner wrote this song "Black Boys on Mopeds" during Thatcher era Britian.
A year earlier Nicholas Bramble, a 21-year-old black man, was riding his moped in the London Borough of Hackney when police give chase, assuming he must have stolen it. Nicholas died during the chase after panicking and losing control of the moped.
7 years before that another 21 year old black man Colin Roach was shot dead at the entrance to a london police station. This was covered up and deemed a su***de despite evidence to the contrary.
Colin Roach's death and the cover up surrounding it sparked a massive uprising of the British civil rights movement, with protests across the country.
Until 2015, the descendants of slave owners in the UK were still being compensated for the loss of their ‘property’ — compensation which was being sourced from the pockets of British taxpayers.
It is 32 years since Black Boys on Mopeds was released, and the song continues to be relevant as ever.
