Introducing The Commons Collins Street. Home to Melbourne’s most exclusive, shops, bars, hotels - and now, us.
Located at the Paris End, our new location is set to take shape in the heart of Collins place, at 55 Collins Street.
Our architects, , have designed a vibrant six-level space that is filled with natural light and captures the dynamic energy of Collins Street. The design emphasises a human-centered approach, catering to diverse needs and activities throughout the day.
The space features a cocktail bar, library, golf simulator and the original ANZ bank vault reimagined as a sensory lounge for relaxation.
Opening in November 2024.
We are excited to kick off of our new community, Founders in Common. Specially designed for all the founders in our community, to expand their network and personal growth right here at The Commons. It will provide a platform to gather, share ideas, and collaborate.

In recognition of NAIDOC week, First Nations artist Emrhan Tjapanangka Sultan led us through a cultural art workshop and taught our Wellington St members about the symbolism, stories, and dot techniques of Aboriginal art.

Our very own South Yarra talent, Elena Strohfeldt guided Members through a ceramic-making session from our QV location. Elena helped Members create their own bowls and mugs letting their creativity run free. With Pinot and nibbles on hand, all Members needed to do was bring themselves and an appetite.

Our panel discussion, led by member Kaylene Langford from StartUp Creative, member Lillian Ahenkan - aka FlexMami, author and podcaster Alexis Rredez and Will Morgan from FELLR shared the secrets behind their stellar brands and the strategies they’ve used to Make Their Mark.
In collaboration with Foolscap Studio, our South Yarra space was designed with synergy in mind. The palette of this location shifts in colour, tone and texture with each floor embodying its own serenity. To help see this come to life, Indigenous Australian artist Jimmy Pike’s designs were used to upholster across numerous surfaces.

The Commons Wellington Street.
Located in the heart of Collingwood, we worked closely with local Architects Flack Studio to create a space that combines the suburb's artistic culture and all the comforts of a functional workspace Flack Studio’s daring design style and most importantly, evokes the feeling of being at home.
This space houses a beautifully curated library, movie theatre, karaoke room, wellness studio, rooftop garden and a fully functional photographic studio.

Entirely self-taught, Elena crafts bespoke pieces out of clay, discovering the therapeutic benefits of ceramics and channeling them into her own collection.

When designing our Flagship space, our architects DesignOffice created a contemporary aesthetic where edginess meets indulgence. Taking inspiration from the infamous George Street in the heart of Sydney, the space provides a sanctuary from the city that remains connected, with the inclusion of premium spaces and finishes that have the amenities and quality of a luxury hotel.
Our Cremorne Members hosted their Sydney Meet Up at our George Street location for a night networking and a panel discussion, learning from influential individuals within the Sporting Industry.
We love to see our Members utilise our spaces between different states.
The Commons Surry Hills.
Our architects Design Office developed a space perfectly tailored to our Member experience. Connected to a creative neighbourhood, we wanted to pay homage to the essence of the suburb of Surry Hills. A celebration of raw concrete and the structural bones of the building, the team captured a stunning light-filled office layered in rich saturated warm tones with a curated suite of new and vintage furniture to form an inviting space for our members to feel inspired and comfortable.
A few weeks back we hosted B Corp’s event at our Wellington Street location for a night of insightful panel discussion. We were honoured to be a part of the conversation along with our Members and B Corp champions Who Gives a Crap and Today Design to hear their insights into what it means to go beyond in their business and how a B Corp certification isn’t just a mark, it’s a movement.
