My heart is so happy for my cookie Angel Stacey; she’s always wanted to move interstate and the opportunity came up and she has taken it! I will miss her terribly but she has been part of my Sweetcheeks family for over 5 years now, and I’m so excited to follow and support her in the next chapter of her journey.

So Im Now not only looking for one but possibly TWO amazing humans to join the Sweetcheeks team.

You’ll need experience in fondant cookie decorating and super neat work with an eye for detail. A lot of the time we don’t do super detailed work, but our work must be neat, centred, top quality; it’s what sets us apart and what we are known for.

You will be working in my home kitchen and studio in Langwarrin and you can count on two days work each week, with the possibility of that growing if that suits you.

It’s absolutely fine if you have your own cookie business, as long as you can commit to your days at Sweetcheeks and be reliable.

Tiffany & Co’s cookie artist ; this has been Sweetcheeks’ title for nearly TEN years!

Almost Ten years ago when I was approached by Tiffany & Co, I created some samples for them, and quoted them. I didn’t realise at the time but they also asked several other cookie companies to produce samples and quotes. I didn’t actually even know until AFTER I got the gig. Because a good cookie friend of mine congratulated me and told me she had ‘auditioned’ as well. So out of curiosity, I ask her her price, wondering if I was cheaper than her and that’s why they chose me. But nope, my cookies were considerably higher in price and they still chose me (and my friend’s cookies were not crap by any means!)

We’re not expensive, we just have a premium product, and we value that product and the time, effort and skills that go into creating it. If you want your business or company to be associated with quality; you need to pick a company who will represent that for you.

Red Adair said; “If you think it’s expensive to hire a professional, wait until you hire an amateur”

We haven’t done a lot of these lately - they’ve been popular for events where lots of drinks are served (or at least a welcome drink) and I have a feeling that right now in our country, those events aren’t really happening.

But if you’re a certain type of business - these can make a fabulous ‘surprise & delight’ for your customers. If you’re in business you would already know that customers have a lot of choice, but if you surprise and delight them; they’ll rave about you, and they will come back to you.

I’m thinking any drinks based businesses, someone like (amazing bottles cocktails delivered to your home made right here in Melbourne) cookies with your cocktails ; heaven!

Hey 👋🏻 I’m Danielle! Director of Sweetcheeks Cookies and Cakes.

I started Sweetcheeks waaaay back in the beginning of 2009 as a little side hustle while I was working full time as a music teacher across 3 different secondary schools here in Melbourne. (But I moved here in 2005, before that I was born and raised in Sydney).

Fast forward through many years, many lessons, we now are the cookie company to come to if you want perfect, beautiful and delicious branded logo cookies in Australia (we ship Australia wide!)

We’ve been THE cookie artist to Australia stores for 9 years now (it’ll be 10 years in this coming February! Wow!) and some more of our clients you might know are and .

It’s true we create for some massive global brands (they want their brand to be represented by the best; here we are!) but we also create for small and medium Businesses. With our minimum order being only 30 cookies and we’ve created up to 10,000 cookies (that was for all Australian Tiffany’s stores one Christmas - I’m not going to lie, that was a HUGE operation and I cried from exhaustion and relief when I hand tied the last bow on the last cookie and packed it into the last box to be shipped off over to Perth; I worked 6am-1am every single day for 2 weeks and had 4 others helping me)

And whilst corporate cookies and wedding cookies and cakes are our specialty and what I focus on these days, we still create for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries and any other reason to celebrate with cookies or cake.

When I say ‘we’ that’s because I have my one amazingly fabulous staff member; my assistant, my right hand woman; Stacey. Since I had my beautiful daughter Zara nearly 4 years ago, I honestly don’t know what i would do without Stacey. She’s fabulous and I wish I could clone both myself and her so that we could take on more of your (sometimes last minute) orders (sorry, we just can’t create 2000 cookies for next Wednesday when it’s Friday afternoon and our bake / decorate days are Thursday and Friday).

FAQ; Can I have the cookies individually packaged?

Absolutely, yes! In fact all our cookies are individually packed in clear, food-safe, biodegradable bags (with ingredients and allergy advice on the back as required by law) at no extra cost to you.

We do have other packaging options as well and have had custom packaging created for clients previously as well so if you have something in mind - let me know and I’ll get you a quote on it!

It may look like we only create for the big guys, but trust me, we are a small business (just myself and my assistant Stacey) we bake and decorate only two days of the week (except in crazy busy times or with a huge order that needs more time)
We can and DO create for global companies all the time, but we also create for small businesses just like you and me!

Whether you need 12 cookies or 10,000 cookies (did that one Christmas for ) - we make it happen!

A high resolution image, gets us the best, most clear, crisp print. We can use .jpg .png .PDF or .eps files then our amazing supplier prints them on sugar paper using food dye inks and laser cuts to the perfect size and shape.

The Easter Bunny has been!!!

Go easy on the chocolates kids.... or, go all out, we’ve still got tomorrow off to get over the chocolate hangover 😉

And if you ARE going all out, have one for me and tell me how good it was. Because at the moment, in the height of chocolate and hot cross bun season, I can’t even lick either of those things while I’m on an autoimmune protocol diet to try and get into clinical remission from Hashimotos. 3 more weeks until we test my antibodies; wish me luck!! (This works for 73% of patients who have tried it! So odds are pretty good!)

Frankie the Fox turns One!!

Babies turning one now entered a very chaotic, unsure world and though we’re so blessed here in Australia to largely have everything under control, these babies couldn’t have visitors, didn’t really go out didn’t socialise - especially here in Melbourne.
So plan those parties, make them special and know that it’s not too simple, it’s not too over the top, it’s going to be perfect, with love, with fun, and with cookies!!!
