Hey beautiful! With the arrival of my latest Self Tan foam - The Velvet Mousse Luxury - I thought I should let you know, its important to follow these steps just after you’ve applied your tan. The first few hours of development are crucial, and in order to achieve an even glow you must:
1. WEAR LOOSE CLOTHING: A baggy T-shirt and pants will be perfect, it protects your skin from rubbing or sticking to things, and also protects from any transfer onto furniture or anything!
2. AVOID LOTIONS & MOISTURISERS: After you apply, the formula is still sitting on your skin, and adding any sort of lotion on top while it’s developing will disrupt the evenness of your tan!
3. STAY MAKE-UP FREE: Like the lotions, wearing makeup can cause the tan to move around before it’s had time to settle. Don’t worry you’ll have plenty of time to dress up once you’re ✨ glowing ✨
4. NO STRENUOUS EXERCISE OR SWEATING: This is a big no-no in the first few hours! It’s important to let your tan soak into your skin, and if you are sweating it won’t be able to dry, and again will result in a patchy / streaky tan!
5. RELAX WHILE YOU WAIT UNTIL ITS TIME TO RINSE: You don’t have to be couch bound, but try to take it easy while you’re waiting for it to dry. Use this time to wind down and treat yourself to a little relaxation while you pamper yourself, knowing you’re doing all you can to ensure an even radiance! 😍
