The weather gods haven't been as polite for this weekends action at Phillip island.
But we are back here for round 3 of the Victorian State Race Series
Supporting the Formula Vee Association of Victoria - FVAV

Beautiful day here at Phillip island for the scholarship toyota 86 round.
28 sets of Dunlop Direzza Z3 supplied and fitted.
This series is also on the same tyre used in the toyota 86 main series and is also the control tyre for the Hyundai Excel series.

Early start here this morning for a round of the Victorian rally championship at Noojee.

Big weekend of Motorsport in Victoria. Rally at Mitta Mitta and circuit racing at Winton and Calder. Chris is doing Calder whilst I got the Winton gig with Formula Vee, Excels and Sports Sedans. This is one of my old haunts, been coming here since 1972. Thanks to the BAC we are back on our old site.

Spending Sunday at Rob Roy Hillclimb race track for the MG car clubs show and shine.

At Rally Retro today, with a huge display of Historic rally cars. Not only static displays, but also competitive driving.

Some very exciting news heading into our final round at Force Acc Vicv8s Calder Park Rnd 5 2023, Brian Finn multiple vic v8s champion and proven sports sedan front runner will be handing the keys over to good friend and fellow competitor Mark Houeix for calder park.
Mark has had some terrible luck this year with engine problems and since Brian has sealed this year championship he is more than happy to let Mark have a steer of his championship winning commodore.
Just shows the mateship we pride our championship on.

We almost had a situation on our hands today. The FIA sporting regulations paragraph 33.3 states -

"Drivers will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with it and, for the avoidance of doubt, any white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.".

Phil Chester was all but airborne between turns 3 and 4 in his Monti Power MG BGT V8 during the MG and Invited British Race 3. A very impressive piece of machinery.
