Saturn stations direct in Pisces on November 4th at 6.02pm AEDT (Melbourne, Australia)⁣⁣​​​​​​​​​As a slow-moving planet, Saturns cycles are long and sometimes cause for change - depending on the aspects it is making to other personal chart points. ​​​​​​​​​

The Solar Fire v9 Minor Patch Update has been available for a few weeks now...​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​But just in case you missed it - be sure to check it out

Solar Fire v9 has been receiving some tender loving care and we have recently released a Minor Update!

Some people had reported a problem with the Saved Charts 'nag' screen which has been resolved in this patch update.

Updates have been made to Transits, Progression, Solar Return and Synastry Interpretations written by Stephanie Johnson.

We have also added the Robson Fixed Stars as a set, and the latest Australian Data Collection which now features more than 455 charts of prominent Aussie people and events.

Astro Locality reports explore the potential energies available for you in any particular location in the world. The report has evolved from a technique called Astro Mapping, which overlays your chart on a map of the world using various methods. This overlay means that certain planets will be stronger in particular geographical areas. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

To create an Astro Locality Report:​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- First create the Natal Chart for the person you would like to create the Locality Report for​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- Click the Maps icon​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- Click the Lines button to adjust the Line Calculation Methods​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- Click the Report button in the top right of your screen​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- Select the Location for the Locality Report (Natal, Home or Other)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
- Click Generate PDF​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse in Ta**us will occur on October 29th, at 7:24 am AEDT.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Astro Gold macOS includes some great tools to easily figure out when Lunations or Eclipse events will occur.

The Eclipses icon at the top of your Astro Gold macOS main screen is one such feature.

This tool allows you to enter a starting year and an ending year, choose the type of eclipse, and click the Search button. You will get a list of all the eclipses of the selected type that occur in the selected period. This tool also includes an additional option to only search for eclipses that make aspects to a specific radix chart! Once you have created your eclipse list, you can highlight any of them and click Calculate Chart to erect a chart for this eclipse.

Eclipse Season 2023 is off and running.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​As Astrologers, we often include New and Full Moons in our work, and are especially interested when one of the lunations occurs near the Moon's Nodes, making it an eclipse.

The New Moon Solar Annular Eclipse in Libra occurring on October 15th is an early morning event at Esotech HQ in Melbourne, Australia happening at 4:55 am AEDT. And this marks the start of Eclipse season in 2023. If you are up and about, see if you can catch a glimpse of the 'ring of fire' around the edge of the moon that is typical of annular eclipses.

This will be followed by the Full Moon Lunar Partial Eclipse in Ta**us on October 29th, which will occur at 7:24 am AEDT.

Astro Gold macOS includes some great tools to easily figure out when Lunations or Eclipse events will occur.

One of the most useful tool for this is the Event Search. There are two types of Event Search options:
* QUICK SEARCH – The icon for this (which looks like a magnifying glass) is next to the Time Step bar at the top of the main Chart Screen. This search will be created from the current transit/event chart that is open on your screen.
* EVENT SEARCH – Click the Events icon at the top of your main program screen. It allows you to select and adjust different parameters for the search, including the Start Date for the Search, the Location and the chart you would like to set for the Radix Points.

Once you are into either of these search screens you will see tabs for several different types of searches. For lunations and eclipses, click on the Lun/Ecl tab.
