The organisation is the brain child of Mr Darren Poinen who has over 15 years of experience in academia and corporate sector. Through his rich professional career experiences, Darren has realised that there was a need for a professional tutoring organisation in Melbourne and Australia wide. D & G Tutoring Services seeks to bring professional touch as well as excellent guidance to the area of teaching and education.

The need for a Tutoring organisation arose from the fact that Australia’s future depends on high quality and dynamic education system to provide students with the foundation skills, values, knowledge and understanding necessary for lifelong learning, employment and full participation in society.

D & G Tutoring Services will bring a whole new approach to the area of tutoring in the sense that it will be based on the idea that the learner or student remains the central focal point of the learning process.

Last but not least, D & G Tutoring Services vision is aligned with the government’s vision of Education and schooling in the Twenty-first Century.
