Former Sri Lanka Netball Captain Tharjini Sivalingam married R. Prasad, a popular Indian businessman, in Chennai on Monday. The ceremony was attended by several Sri Lankan netball players, friends, and well-wishers.

- The 45-year-old Goal Shoot is celebrated as one of the most successful shooters in netball history and is recognized for being the tallest netball player ever. She holds the record for the most international caps representing Sri Lanka.
