Shinrabansho
Literally translates as "All nature", everything that exists in the universe.
A very bold statement piece. This print is derived from sumi ink painted on to an antique silver leaf screen.
Don't worry, I did not destroy a beautiful screen, I had two panels to use prior to painting the actual commissioned piece, a four panel screen.
It is an honour to paint onto these very old screens that have seen so much over perhaps a century or more.
Available printed on Hahnemuhle German etching fine art paper or archival quality metal panels on a floating hanger.

Metal art for bathrooms
One of the things I love about metal prints is they are to able to be placed in humid, wet environments.
That could be as art in an outdoor entertaining area, by the pool or as we see here, in a bathroom.
There is every reason for elevating the bathroom with art.

Waldeinsamkeit
Definition: Forest solitude; The feeling of being alone in the woods.
This lovely word seemed made for this print as a title.
I immediately was transported to a gorgeous forest in Europe, with it's fairytale lore and duality of magical and sinister reputations.
The brushed metal beautifully illustrating the feeling of time passing in a forest, with light and shadow moving with time, changing the way you feel being there.

Abendrot
In German, Abendrot directly translates to “evening red” and refers to the sunset.
Very apt for this print I think, I love it!
This print took many weeks to perfect and I love the result. It is textural, emotional; is sweet and intimate as a little print and is a statement piece in any room on fine art paper or metal at 50cm or 100cm.
The grittiness of the red pigment and cinnabar ink on brushed metal in particular is thrilling to me, but that’s me, what do you as the viewer think?

The website and shop are now live again. We took the time while I was recovering from hand surgery, to update the website!!
We have made some changes to the print editions we think you will love.
There are now a smaller more intimate size print to choose from and the larger prints are reduced to editions of 12 only.
If you would like to see prints in your own home or business, at your preferred size and medium, It is as easy as sending a photo of your space. I will then place the prints in the photo for you to more accurately see how the prints will feel having them in your home or business.

Kawakaari
I love the details in this print, the very subtle but perfectly printed fine details of the water lines and ink edges. I feel the title of this print suits it perfectly. It is Japanese and the definition is:
The glow of a river or stream in darkness or dusk, the gleaming surface of a shadowed river.
This print is beautiful as a pure monochromatic image or with the detail of red expressive lines. I also think it is perfect for a bathroom setting on metal.
Coming soon will be the addition of a new size of prints, they will be 15cm x 15cm. The shop on the website is down until we finish adding all the new prints and also price changes. Yugen
This print brings up so many feelings for me.
It is abstract yet also figurative.
I realised it gives me strong empathy feelings I have towards people I love.
Though it feels feminine and sweet like a mothers love for her child, it can represent love and caring between any two people of any gender, where one is protective of the other.
I wonder if any of you have any of these feelings whilst looking at this print, please share below, I would love to know.
I am going on a trip today to meet new friends and old much loved friends. Maybe that is why this print is giving me such strong vibes today!

Natsukashii
Natsukashii is a beautiful word, it feel so good to say it, just rolls of the tongue.
The feeling it gives me with this print is one of peace and tranquility. I hope you agree.
I love this shape for a print, though it is unusual by western standards, it is very common in Japan, being the dimensions of the scroll that has a Sumi-e painting of a landscape or phrase.
As it is unconventional, it will work in less obvious areas of your home or workplace and works well placed off centre.
Prints are available in Hahnemuhle fine art paper and Chromoluxe metal panel prints. Both are archival quality and both are beautiful.
