It’s official! I’ve temporarily put down my scissors and makeup brushes and soon to be replacing them with nappies and dummies.
It’s such a whirlwind of emotions right now as I love working so much however I’m also so excited to start this new chapter in my life.
Let’s all remember though it is temporary and I will be back! Can’t wait to see you all again when I’m a mum!

I haven’t done a full glam on myself in ages and this time I found myself doing a little more ‘lifting’ work. I have totally changed the way I do makeup and that’s ok, times change and so do styles.
What is lifting work? Well I like to simplify it by placing three main techniques on a slightly higher angle than what my natural features are.
1. Contour - placed slightly higher than my cheek bone and jawline for a more defined look.
2. Lashes and Liner - concentrated mainly on the outer corner of my eye and using half lashes only. Where the centre of your pupil is is where your liner and lashes end. This is sort of a ‘contour’ for the eye as it pulls focus to elongating the eye.
3. Highlight with concealer - angled straight under the outer lash and where your brow ends towards your hairline. This will tie the contour and the eyes together and trick the eyes for a more lifted look.
Believe me I do not look anything like this right now… I saw this photo and felt the need to post. It’s nice to feel how my clients feel when they have their makeup done.

Hello my lovelies,
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, it has been quite a year!
However, I have news!
As from 1/February I will be going on maternity leave. During this time I will be offering take home kits for root touch ups.
Unfortunately, until I return back to work this means I will no longer be taking on new clients.
But I have good news!!
During my leave, I will be taking on special occasion hair styling and makeup. Stay tuned for the start date.
There are still some available appointments left for January, make sure to book your appointment in advance to avoid disappointment.
Looking forward to seeing you all during this busy Christmas and New Year period.
