Did you know electrolysis is The ONLY form of permanent hair removal! This method uses heat and chemical energy to permanently destroy the cells responsible for the formation and growth of hair. This is achieved via inserting a thin, hair like needle into the hair follicle where the energy is delivered directly, then the hair is able to slide right on out!

This treatment is perfect for those stubborn hormonal hairs, clients who have had little to no luck with or aren’t eligible for treatment with light based modalities such as LASER or IPL.

Grey, blonde or red hairs can also be treated with Electrolysis, as well as treatment of hairs which grow out of benign moles.
Candidates who are eligible for LASER and IPL, it is recommended that a few sessions are performed before electrolysis to reduce the amount and thickness of hair, electrolysis can be used to clean up the more resistant hairs to ensure you’re hair free

The difference between LASER and IPL ⚡️🧡

Laser and IPL both use light which when emitted into the skin turns from light energy, into thermal energy. This thermal energy is absorbed by the melanin present within the hair, which in turn destroys the hair.

When damage is caused to the hair , it results in significantly reduced growth, thickness and density of hair in treated areas.

There are a number of considerations to be taken in to determining which method is best suited to individual clients and their needs.

LASER technology uses a focused, monochromatic single band of light that has a fixed wavelength, this single band of light is delivered into the skin almost like a column.

IPL uses polychromatic light whereby many different wavelengths can be produced and customised to what we are treating. The light is emitted through a flash lamp where light is scattered onto the skin
