I had a super busy day at Williams Landing today! The centre is celebrating its 5th birthday today 🎂 I painted approx 140 children in 4 hours!

Did you know World Bee Day was on May 20th? These little critters are so important! 🐝🐝🐝

Bees are important to our livelihood as they help to pollinate most of the crops we eat and many that feed farm animals. Nearly two-thirds of Australia’s agricultural production benefits from bee pollination.

But bee populations are under threat. Destruction of their natural habitat, intensive farming practices, and pests and diseases are just some of the complex reasons driving a decline in both the number and diversity of bees.

Without bees, our food security is at risk!

November 2nd is Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead)

A beautiful tradition in Mexico and Latin America, where family members pay their respects, honour and remember their ancestors that have passed.

The calavera (skull) is the most recognisable symbol for this occasion. Families would make skulls out of sugar or clay and decorate them with brightly coloured paints. These skulls are then placed as a decoration on an alter, along with food, drinks and trinkets for their deceased loved ones 💖

What a busy few days that was!
I estimate I painted just under 500 faces in the last 5 days! 🥰😵‍💫

Super busy gig tonight, the first of 8. I'm going to need a holiday by Wednesday 😅☠️

I've had an influx of last minute Halloween enquiries today. Unfortunately I am booked out all day next Tuesday 31/10.

I'm looking forward to painting lots of scary ghosts, zombies and skulls!

Way to go Marty! Marty was off to see last night. He's a dedicated fan! This makeup needed to last approx 10 hours (a few of those hours were waiting outdoors in the line to get into the venue) on a very rainy Melbourne day. I used stage makeup for this look, rather than water based face paint.
