The Frankston Bombers Family was saddened to hear of the passing of Pers Lielnors yesterday after a short illness. Pers was an integral part of our Club in the late 80’s & early 90’s where he was a successful Coach of our Under 18’s nurturing young talent before taking the role of Chairman of Selectors. Our thoughts & condolences are with Judy, David, Kristian & Indi.
A massive shout out to our Nick Haynes Academy Partners: Aben Homes, 888 Electrical Solutions, A-grade timber, Surface Floors, A and O plumbing, Tony Blackford Landscape and pools. Also, a huge shout-out to Daryl Parker for his support. All these people and companies help create the academy. Thanks again for the support.
Please help our major summer fundraiser where you can. Enter the Challenge, get a mate or family member to enter, like the Challenge Facebook or share the post.

2025 Player Announcement 🔴⚫️
Zac Burrowes
Frankston Bombers welcome Zac & his family for the 2025 season. Zac has played 29 senior games in the past two years at Edithvale Aspendale FNC including their reserves premiership in 2024. He has played small to medium defensive roles taking challenges to the oppo’s best forwards.
A note from JG: Zac has played some significant senior level footy in his early days, who is going to add to our pack of young talent. He is driven, accountable and holds high values as an individual. Another young lad with great demeanour and character to add amongst our playing group!
We look forward to seeing Zac in the red and black next year!
2025 Player Announcement
Sam Glenn
Sam comes highly credentialed with previous captaincy, multiple team of the year nominations and best & fairests. Whilst only playing the first 10 games of the 2024 season due to injury, Sam still finished Runner Up in the B&F at Karingal.
Words from coach JG: Sam will add great experience and leadership to our young group, he will give us depth through the midfield whilst also adding to our scoring power averaging over a goal a game. Regardless of performance, Sam will be a great role model in the way he trains, prepares and conducts himself to our players.
Frankston Bombers welcome Sam, Brydie & Maisie for the 2025 season 🔴⚫️

Frankston Bombers welcome Tyson and family for the 2025 season. Tyson at just 20 has already tasted a senior premiership in 2022 for Cranbourne in the SFNL. This year Tyson kicked 32 goals playing a combination of Wing and HF.
A few words from coach JG: Tyson fits the bill to have an impact straight away, whilst also adding to the group of young men who are our future generation. His ability to hit the scoreboard and create opportunities is an area he’s going to have a major impact for us.
