Mudeye’s finally back in stock just in time for Trout open..

Well another trip done and what an amazing trip it was.
Some new and some returning customers all had a ball fishing the Montebello Islands.
The Jigging was exceptional and top water fishing was as good as always with a wide range of species and some absolute cracking fish caught.
Thanks to the crew at Blue Lightning Charters they were fantastic as usual.

Long time customer Nick caught this beautiful gummy shark near joes island. A fresh squid ring did the damage! Great fish mate!

Hook Up customer Greg Crook caught this 118KG (gutted) Blue fin tuna last night locally!

A late arvo bite on a humble pilchard. What a fish to christen the new boat! Welldone mate.

This fish had a busted off long liner rig in its mouth, safe to say it wasn’t so lucky the second time around!

Greg said there were plenty of fish out there, they are just a bit tricky to get them to bite!

Customer Don Elso fished Corinella today and got himself a great bag of Snapper with the best fish weighing 6kg.
He used Yakka fillets and Pilchards for bait and fished the runout tide.
Good stuff Don great sign for a good early season 🎣

—Thomas Pinter Murray Cod seminar —

On the 28th of this month we have Thomas Pinter coming in to do a Murray Cod seminar in store. Thomas is now a 4 time winner of the Cod Nationals and is a renowned Murray Cod fishing guide.
He will be giving an in depth talk on fishing Lakes - Dams and Rivers and is very well known for his knowledge on Lake Eildon and Lake Mulwala.

This is an event that shouldn’t be missed by any keen Murray Cod angler.

Customer Jedd Fudge caught these beautiful Redfin fishing the Ferntree Gully Quarry with the smallest of the fish measuring 43cm caught on a pink soft plastic and the largest of them measuring 47cm caught on worms.
