Some more Wegner in the house. The CH25 Easy chair in European oak. Designed in 1950, this was the first chair in which any Danish designer started using what became known as Danish cord for upholstery. Previously sea grass and split cane were the preferred choices for weaves. Fun fact, this chair requires almost 400mts of cord and stakes a skilled weaved ten hours to complete. Still with all of its strapping, this Bruno Mathsson “Pernilla” Lounge Chair is in excellent original condition. And it’s not just stunning to look at: this chair is wonderful to sit in, too.

I’ve been desperately waiting for these to arrive… and here they are! Set of 6 1980s chairs by Danish architect Rainer Daumiller and manufactured by Hirtshals Savvaerk. These are manufactured in pine but have been finished in a burnt orange. Some scuffs and marks due to age. We’ll need listing these shortly. :)
