A great cause

Repurposing for Resilience Eurobodalla are teaming up with the awesome guys at The Tec Exec and Tims Computing to bring our local region "Computers 4 Community". This series of free workshops for community will give new life to old computers, monitors, and laptops destined for e-waste. Refurbished equipment will then be gifted to our local not for profits, disadvantaged children and the more vulnerable in our community. This initiative is all about keeping our community connected and providing access to hands on training and resources while reducing impact on our environment.

The aim of our project is to prolong the lifespan of these devices, enhancing their efficiency, minimising waste impact, and supporting those in need. With this in mind we created a series of workshops tailored to empower attendees with the skills to troubleshoot and fix common hardware and software problems, enabling us to refurbish and donate these devices to members of our community.

This is a volunteer led initiative, but we do need materials and software for the project.
