Have you a couple of hours free a week ,or every 2 weeks??? We are looking for people to help us assist people living with dementia to enjoy a morning of fun and friend ship. No experience required! Just a smile, a friendly face πŸ˜ƒbe able to chat, make a cup of tea and make a difference to people living with Dementia.

We had a wonderful morning tea at St John of God hospital last Tuesday for dementia action week.
Our next memory cafe is on Tuesday 8 October. We will be making some beautiful paper flowers, along with our usual quizzes sing along.

On Tuesday, 24th September, St John of God Hospital Midland will host our Memory Cafe. The event commences at 10am on the 1st floor outdoor garden, accessible via the lift. Upon exiting, turn right and proceed to the garden or inquire with dementia-friendly volunteers in yellow attire. Last Tuesday's morning gathering at West Swan Home Support in Altone was a resounding success. Our morning tea was a hit, and everyone enjoyed the games and quizzes that followed. We are grateful to the WSHS staff and volunteers for their tireless efforts, and we appreciate Marlene for offering us the use of her beautiful venue.

On Tuesday, the 28th, we were privileged to witness a breathtaking musical performance by Anna and Grace, who demonstrated their mastery of the cello and violin. The performance was a testament to their skill and artistry, and it resonated deeply with our members. The looks on their faces were a testament to the joy and wonder that the music brought them.
