My name is Morgan and I will be undertaking my placement here at BG Speech Pathology for the next few weeks, as I am currently studying a Masters of Speech and Language Therapy at Charles Darwin University. I am excited for all the opportunities that BG Speech Pathology will bring me, while I expand my skillset and gain valuable knowledge. I am looking forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks.

Some of you may already know me from when I worked for BG Speech during my gap year in 2022 before I moved away to study Occupational Therapy.

For the remainder of the year I will be completing my Uni online while I work with the girls at BG Speech.
I have loved seeing some familiar faces already and look forward to meeting lots of new clients and their families 😁

Hi, I’m Ella!
I have recently joined the team at BG Speech Pathology as an Allied Health Assistant. I graduated Year 12 last year and am currently taking a gap year before I go to study in Adelaide.
I am extremely grateful to work in such a positive environment with an amazing team. I am so excited for this upcoming year and can’t wait to meet so many new faces!

This week our gorgeous Mumna to be Sarah McGinty commenced Maternity Leave & we celebrated her today with a Baby Sprinkle. We wish Sarah, Matt & Effie all the best & hope Matt gets all his jobs done before Baby 2 arrives 🤣🥰

We are offering a workshop to parents, carers, autistic individuals. We would appreciate it is you are able to share this with any of your families that you feel would benefit from this.

Did I mention it is Free to Attend, yep not cost at all to those that would like to come along.

Are you looking to gain a better understanding of autism and health?

are hosting an upcoming ‘Autism and Health’ workshop on Friday 8th March where we will be unpacking and discussing topics related to Autistic health and wellbeing. ❤️

Community members are invited to attend this small group workshop (approx. 20-25 people) that will cover;

✴ Covid-19 and how the pandemic highlighted the inaccessibility of the healthcare system for Autistic people

✴Barriers that Autistic people face in healthcare,

✴ Sensory, social and information processing accommodations and adjustments that can be requested

✴ Health and wellbeing tips – what works well for the Autistic community and ideas for how you can stay well

As well as this, participants will be provided with lunch on the day and a free gift bag upon the conclusion of the workshop.

Hi! I’m Annabelle and I’ve recently joined the team at BG Speech Pathology. I’m so excited to be working as an Allied Health Assistant!
Last year I completed year 12 and I am undertaking a gap year this year before moving on to study at uni. I’m beyond grateful to have this opportunity to work in the field i’m hoping to pursue a career in! I look forward to meeting so many new people and work with an amazing team.

Hi, I’m Louise. I have recently joined the team at BG Speech Pathology as an allied health assistant. I am completing a gap year before heading off to study Speech Pathology at University. I am incredibly excited and grateful to be working alongside Brooke and the team as I know it will bring knowledge and skills to help me grow. I love working with children and can’t wait to meet many new people whilst helping them develop and progress in their journeys!

Hi, i’m Chloe!
I am so excited to be joining the team at BG Speech Pathology in 2024 as an Allied Health Assistant. I am thrilled to be working with such an amazing group of people during my gap year. I’ve always loved working with children and helping them reach their goals. I’m so grateful to be working along side Brooke and the team and look forward to gaining knowledge and experience in a field I am very passionate about. Can’t wait to see what this year brings!

A big congratulations to Sophie for completing her Masters of Speech Pathology. Sophie has worked for many years as an Allied Health assistant at BG Speech while completing her studies.
We are so proud of Sophie’s dedication and we are looking forward to her beginning her new role as a Speech Pathologist in 2024! 💕

Welcoming Kadesha to the team in Term 4!

Hi! I’m Kadesha.
I am excited to join the team at BG Speech Pathology and develop my knowledge to support children and adults who require intervention. I have a Diploma in Early Education and have worked in Childcare for the past 5 years. I am a positive and enthusiastic person, and I feel honoured to learn with children and support them and understand how they learn best.
Fun fact is I am also a qualified chef and have worked in and out of kitchens most of my life. I try to spend most of my personal time with people that mean the most to me and my fur babies.
I believe everyone should have a safe space to develop their knowledge, skills, and personality and to be their amazing self. I look forward to this amazing new journey!
