Mostly frequently asked question: Why did you choose the name ‘Omakase’?

Occasionally in Japanese restaurants you might find a section in the menu called ‘Omakase’. Basically that translates to “respectfully leaving another to decide what is best”. This allows the chef to truly express their passion and skills to the audience they are cooking for. We wanted to capture that essence and offer a concept that features a new menu every week to express our love and devotion to the Japanese culinary arts. This allows customers to taste and enjoy a wider variety of traditional foods. And hey, who doesn’t love a surprise when it comes to their meal? 💁🏽‍♂️
