Energy Power Systems CAT's Marine Excellence Centre (MEC) has successfully delivered and commissioned 22 vessels for the Austal Pacific Patrol Boat program to date, incorporating a total of 110 CAT engines.

We had the honour of presenting an award to Austal in recognition of the first 100 CAT engines to the program since being awarded the contract in 2017. The award was presented by Miles Taylor, Project Lead MEC, to Simon Fell CPPM, Patrol Boat Program Manager, and the Austal team.

This milestone reflects our ongoing collaboration with Austal, and EPSA's commitment to supporting Australia's maritime defence industry.

Energy Power Systems Australia was honoured to welcome Hon. Matt Keogh, Federal Minister for Veterans and Defence Personnel and Rear Admiral Wendy Malcolm AM, CSM Royal Australian Navy, at our booth space at the recently held Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Exposition.

Our Cat Marine defence experts had the opportunity to walk them through our CAT Marine product line, as well as our capability and credentials within the maritime naval segments.

Over the last 10 to 15 years, EPSA-CAT has been providing the power and propulsion system solutions for reputed maritime naval platforms such as the Guardian Class Pacific Patrol Boats, the Cape Class Patrol Boats and the Evolved Cape Class Patrol Boats platforms.
