Album POST (12): *** FINAL POST FOR THIS ALBUM ***

Miscellaneous photos walking/jogging back to the start/finish area, a few from the railway bridge & some finish line festivities.

"And That's a Wrap". Yes, quite a big album, lots of great running sequences but hoping the series of posts will make it easier for parkrunners to reference their photos. Thanks for the opportunity, I had great fun out there with the camera on this lovely course, regards, Matt.

Album POST (11): parkwalkers boogie until photographer intercepts with tailwalkers, just over 2km on the out of the course. Upon this interception, it was time to turn around & jog back to get photos of some cruisers & parkwalkers from the railway bridge and finish line (next post).

Album POST (9): Golly Gosh a few youngsters really put on a show, hitting the nitro amongst their more midpack cruise pace adjusted parents/guardians...

Album POST (8): Through the twisty bends of greenery. More midpack action.

Album POST (7): Great midpack action on the return.

Some runners crossed their arms in this batch of photos so hence the reason for some cropping when multiple runners in a photo to crop out the runner/walker who didn't want their photo taken. Hopefully I still got everyone who wanted a photo taken though.

Album POST (6): Some great midpack action as I continue to wander along the course. Quite busy at times with all the close twisting but very scenic leafy bends so was quite challenging at times trying to get everyone in the photos.

Stay tuned, will post rest of photos either late Sat or Sun morning. More to come...

Album POST (5): More great running action as more fast guns & cruisy midpackers bringing it home around the leafy twisty bends.

Album POST (4): Fast guns on the return... if I missed any of the fast ones at the start, hopefully they are captured here in all their glory over a hotly contested final stretch.

Album POST (3): Cruisers & Walkers continue to stream under the railway bridge. Then as the tailwalkers passed, the camera lens is turned the other way to capture the long procession of parkrunners/walkers heading off towards the Laratinga wetlands.

Album POST (2): More pacy action under the railway bridge.

Album POST (1): Start line festivities & Underway under the railway bridge.

Apologies to the fast starters as I missed them coming under the bridge as they were just so Fast...... My plan was to get on top of the bridge to get photos but by the time I was ready to scramble up the fast guns were already running under the bridge.

Hence I decided to photograph everyone under the bridge so I didn't miss anyone else.

Saying that I'm confident I got photos of the fast runners I missed at the start on the return, so stay tuned for subsequent posts for this album.

Paul Celebrates 50 parkruns!

Paul will be celebrating his 50th parkrun on Saturday. Paul’s first parkrun was April 2023 encouraged by our neighbour Marg. There are four of us, all retired, living close to and encouraging each other. Paul is the second person from the group to reach 50 with the other two close behind. Paul has also clocked nine volunteer events.

Congratulations Paul, see you out there Saturday morning!
