Well I never thought it would happen but the sale completes tomorrow. Mark and Lisa will be your new hosts.

Hello my lovelies I’m missing you all terribly!

Cafe should be in new hands and re opened before end of march! I will let you know if I get a firm date.

Well what can I say apart from a massive massive thank you to everyone that came to say goodbye this week.

I have been truly spoilt with flowers, chocolates, wine, vouchers and cards.

I would like to thank all of our amazing customers for all the love shown over the last two years. You are amazing and I will miss you all.

Tuesday is the start of a sad week for me as it will be my last week trading. I will finish serving at 2pm on Saturday 24th February. We will have all your favourite cakes, millionaires, Bakewell, triple chocolate brownies, Eccles, raspberry and white chocolate blondies, fruit cake, coffee and walnut, lemon and blueberry Vicky sponge and orange and almond for our lovely giuten free hope to see you all this week

As you know we are very dog friendly at the cafe just as well because we had the most enormous gentle Scottish deer hound visit yesterday.

Book club notice.

Due to a celebration of life on Thursday afternoon we are unable to meet for book club.

I am unable to set a new date at the moment but it will be in February. Will give you plenty of notice.

This Saturday is the wonderful poundbury Christmas market. We will be serving food from 9-3 we hope to see you Saturday 😊

Good morning lovely people. Just thought I’d post an update on the sale of the cafe.

All is going through but I shall now be there til at least the end of January maybe later. So your continued support will be much appreciated.

We will be shut from 24th December until 9th January so that the cafe can be re decorated.

Just taken the mince pies out of the oven be quick they won’t last long

If any of our customers would like to donate any of these items or donate a shoe box full I would be happy to deliver. I will collect items until 10th December. If you don’t have time to go to shops I’m more than happy to do it for you. Donations can be made at cafe. Not everyone is lucky to have a loving home or a family at Christmas. Let’s try and share the love ❤️

A lovely group bought me some flowers today for looking after them since I’ve been at the cafe. So touched and grateful! My eyes started leaking. Will be difficult to say goodbye when the time comes

Today I shall be making my boozy vegetarian vegan mincemeat. It will be on sale at cafe from November. £3.50 per jar. Makes beautiful mince pies 🥧

Good morning! We are open today and would love you to pop in! We have triple chocolate brownies, orange and almond cake, Bakewell tart and strawberry Victoria and some bad boy sausage rolls. All fresh today

This week we start a new chapter at cafe octagon. Scott has left us and is back with his family in Newbury.

So I will continue to run the cafe but it will have a slightly different feel food wise! The regular menu will continue but I will be trying to make smaller bites such as sausage rolls and homemade tarts and pies.
