Well my Thermomix earned its keep again today..☺, she is always a great help & makes life easy ...
I really needed to get my act together and start meal preping for the week.
This weekend I've made banana bread, choc chip cookies, piklets, apricot slice, youghurt, satay chicken, bologanise, bread, tomato sausages.. All this hasn't taken me long just planned my time during the day and last night..
I've frozen the banana bread, piklets, chicken, bolaganise, sausages ready for the week...the snack food will defrost by morning tea and I'll just defrost the main meals over night/day ready for dinner..
I would have saved so much money making all this, there are no packets used, limited sugar, no additives or preservatives and I'll be less stressed having to organize dinner this week...just have to make quick sides of veggies, rice , pasta...
Interest free finishes tomorrow***
Uploaded my first recipe to the recipe community tonight, try it out and let me know how you go.. Such an easy recipe to make and tasted delicious..

Coconut Curried Sausages For Thermomix - skinnymixers This is the first recipe I ever “developed”. Shortly after moving in with my now husband, Michael, I asked him what he was craving for dinner and he replied “curried sausages”. Now, I had never heard of curried sausages in my life… so I jumped on Google and browsed about 100 recipes, with this conce…

Looking forward to dinner...Fresh Salmon, broccolini & frozen baby carrots...all this cooking while we relax and watch a movie..
I'm often asked if you can cook frozen veggies in the Varoma, answer is yes..the carrots are frozen as my boy loves them because their "cute", so I just cook them for a few extra minutes than fresh veg.
Its a smoothie kinda morning....frozen berries, banana, spinach, watermelon, celery, carrot, ginger, chia seeds, flaxseed, honey.
What are you having for breakfast??
How about quick , easy, yummy porridge?? 11 mins is all it takes.. I make lunches for the day while it cooks..
Today I've added a little toasted muesli, blue berries, strawberries, honey and doulp of youghurt (yes youghurt made in the Thermomix)

I'm sure they will still taste yummy...
I made Sundried Tomato pull apart this morning. One for my work colleagues the other for hubby's work..
I brought myself a Snack Press from Tuppaware and I'm in love, so testing it out..YouTube what it is and get yourself one..
We went camping over the Easter break with friends down to Nymboida, about 20 mins from Grafton.
I wanted to avoid packet or tin food so took along my TM31 and I was able to have yummy veggies for dinner and my tummy loved me for it...
It really is all we would need cooking wise for camping, as it can cook your bacon, eggs, tomato for breaky or make a smoothie. Maybe beetroot salad for lunch, with steamed chicken and vegetables for dinner... Don't forget you could also make hot custard on those cool nights.
I used my spiralizer for something a little bit different for dinner tonight... I did Zucchini, Carrot, Beetroot put them into the Varoma for 10 mins just to slightly soften and served with some steak, with left overs for lunch.
Doesnt get much easier than this..
