There are long running businesses out there that still don’t know their target market. I noticed that a lot of their answers to these questions are based on assumptions -
👉 Do you know where they are most active online?
👉 Do you know why they love coming back to your business?
👉 Who usually makes the purchase? What age group? What’s their background and online habits?
If you have the answers, that’s great! If you don’t, spend some time looking at your data. It’s readily available if you’re setup properly. ��Knowing your target market better will help you create effective marketing strategies!

Common mistakes of business owners is that they think their strategy is working, but in reality they are spending too much money for the amount of results they are getting.
Some of the questions I ask is:
👉 Are you targeting your audience where they are most active online?
👉 Other than sales data, are you looking at other data to support your marketing efforts?
👉 Are you spending enough time and effort in the most effective platforms/channels?

Believe it or not, a lot of successful businesses have been using ancient technology to run their business. It’s hard to keep up with technology without support from people in the know.��My best bit of advice? Make time to review your business systems and processes regularly. Do research to find out if there are better options with tech and people.
Ask your team what pain points they are experiencing and ask if they can think of any solutions. Review all inputs, seek some advice and demos from suppliers. Make the time to solve any challenges instead of living with the pain.�
