We recently performed a comprehensive PCR for a highly regarded client on their Liebherr
282C electric drive dump truck. This involved a major overhaul, including the replacement and reinstallation of the engine power module, front wheel groups, pump drive box group, and new hydraulic hoses throughout the entire machine.

Plant Mechanic Job in Blue Mountains & Central West MGC Maintenance is local to Dubbo and the central west, we provide mechanical services to multiple clients around the area. With our forever growing and expanding team we strive to put you first at MGC Maintenance.

Here we have a 16M Grader needing a few major repairs that consist of
• Articulation pins, bushes and bearings replaced with the top bores needing to be line bored
• Tandem trunnion bushes were replaced along with 2 drive chains
• Centre lock pin cylinder needed resealing

Repairs and defects done to a cat 637E scraper twin power for a client ready to send to its next job.
• Sump reseal and transmission o ring replaced on the rear engine power pack
•Lift cylinder reseal
•Draft arm trunnion replacement

We had the pleasure of fitting an axle group to a Caterpillar R1700G underground loader this week.

The axle group was removed to be rebuilt as it had an internal failure.

- we found the hub oils as a sludgy black consistency, with further investigation we found the wheel bearings had exceeded there life span.

MGC Maintenance is currently seeking diesel mechanics to join our team to service our clients around dubbo and the central west. We currently have multiple positions available as our client base is steadily growing.

You will be reporting to the maintenance supervisor of the individual client. With in these roles you will be responsible for but not limited to servicing, maintaining, upgrading and general repairs of all types of Heavy machinery such as road transport, civil and mining equipment.

Role requirements:

• Qualification in road transport and/or mobile plant.
• High risk work tickets such as forklift, dogging/rigging and C6 crane are desired but not mandatory.
• Mandatory car licence required.
