We have facilitated courses covering, Safely Access the Rail Corridor, for all those wonderful staff members who work both on and with The Ghan, The Indian Pacific, The Great Southern and The Overlander.

TICRail is proud to announce that eleven dedicated students completed our eight-week Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure course in Albury.
All students were subjected to intense theory and practical training with rail tools in a rail environment at the Ettamogah Rail Hub and the Westside Community Centre in Albury.

Thanks to our Indigenous Rail mentor Cook Saylor for his cultural and vocational skills in supporting the students through the journey. Cook was led by TICRail trainer Les Moon Suares whose dedication, compassion and experience was valued by all.
Lastly and most importantly to the eleven women and men who have dedicated their time, efforts and skills to change their, their families and communities lives with qualifications and experiences that have made them ready for rail employment.

Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) Train Control School!
Mark Stevens, TICRail Network Control Training Manager has been training three new trainee Train Controllers from FMG in Western Australia. The training is part of the process for the trainees who are working towards their Certificate IV in Rail Network Control.
The FMG Train Control Center is located in the Perth CBD and the cohort have been gaining valuable experience and skills from Marksβ 30 years in the network control systems nationally.
This safety critical rail role is vital to the ongoing operations of FMGβs networks and the commitment of both the TICRail and FMG teams is ongoing.
