It's seen by 60,000 people annually and described as Broadway meets Cirque Du Soleil! A world-class theatrical extravaganza! The stage comes alive with incredible works of wearable art, dancers, aerialists, music, lights and AV!
We'll be attending the opening night of the show in Wellington! Want to know more? www.worldofwearableart.com
And with only 4 places left on our two-week adventure, you don't want to hesitate and miss out. This is our ONLY tour with availability for this year and it's sure to be an amazing adventure.

Have you seen our Vietnam and Cambodia 2025 tour? We only have 4 places left to join us on this amazing adventure.
One of the highlights is sure to be our visit to SAPA!
Our two-night stay will be at the Hotel de la Coupole - an enchanting mix of haute couture and hill tribe style; where we bring you a nostalgia of the French Indochine era. Immerse in an authentic Vietnamese experience punctuated by picturesque beauty and cultural diversity. Hotel de la Coupole opened in December 2018, ushering in a new Golden Age for luxury travel in this once-forgotten mountain retreat.
During our visit, we'll explore the quiet valleys and gorges surrounding the village of O Quy Ho. The shallow winding valley sits in the shadow of Indochina’s highest peak, Fangxipan Mountain, and on clear days you can enjoy superb views of the range. Away from the major tourist routes, this walk is the perfect escape. Pass by oolong tea farms before joining a local footpath that clings to the contours of the rice terraces and takes you gently down the valley past grazing buffalo and working farmers. Walk along ancient stone paths and hear the story of the Black H’Mong migration to these mountains centuries before. Learn about the distinct cultures, languages and lifestyles that make northwestern Vietnam so fascinating, and visit an authentic Black H’Mong house, home to a local family.
We've timed our stay in Sapa to make sure you visit the BAC HA Market. Only on a Sunday, this vibrant market brings villages from all around (it's the largest market in the region!). Observe the mix of Flower H’mong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung ethnic minority traders that journey to the market from the surrounding mountainous areas. Browse the colourful stalls stocking a variety of local products, including brightly coloured handicrafts and fresh tea.
Want to join us? With only a few places left - you don't want to wait and miss out on this one!

Escaping the heat, it was up into the hills to MUNNAR for the last stay of our trip! Here at Windermere Estate we are surrounded by rolling hills and plantations. We even jumped into jeeps as the bus can’t access this area!
We explored the tea plantations, cardamom plantations and felt like local celebrities as we got asked ‘for just one selfie’ 😉👍🏼
We’re in the SOUTH!
We still have so many amazing things to share from our first few weeks in Rajasthan, but we are now here in COCHIN 🌴☀️🇮🇳
The sun is much hotter, the humidity much higher - but we are embracing the moments (and sweat!)
🐟 Started with watching the locals use fishing nets to catch fresh fish (we even had a go at pulling up the nets)
🍅 Tuk tuks through the old town to the colourful vegetable market
👚 A visit to Dhobi Khana - a community laundry of families, set up in 1720. We met one lady who was working hard at 83yrs, handwashing the garments in the sheds (it’s 80% humidity today and 35 degrees…). And the irons they use - just a measly 5kgs!
🕎 Through the Jewish quarter, where it was a very quick shop in some amazing antique shops and clothing stores. With a stop at the synagogue and museum.
🍽️ And then it was off to meet Nimmy and Paul. Invited into their homes to hear about their lives, see some traditional cooking/recipes, and then enjoy a delicious lunch.
A few things in between, some down time by the pool - it’s definitely a more relaxed town here on the harbours edge. We are being spoilt staying at Brunton’s Boathouse 😍
A photo dump on our time in India 💛
From beautiful boutique hotels and restaurants with a view 🥂 From forts and palaces to the iconic Taj Mahal 🇮🇳 From exploring the streets to visiting a women’s empowerment centre 🙌🏼
We’ve done and seen plenty - but there is SO much more to come!!!
HAPPY HOLI 💚💛💜🧡💙
What an amazing fun experience we had in Jaipur! It’s safe to say our skin and hair colour may never be the same again.
HOLI: On this day, people of all ages, castes, and social backgrounds come together, smearing each other with vibrant colors and exchanging good wishes.
The colors used in Holi hold deep symbolism. Red represents love and fertility, green is for new beginnings, yellow is the color of knowledge and learning, blue symbolizes the Hindu God Krishna, and pink signifies the blossoming of relationships. These colors are often made from natural sources like herbs, flowers, and roots, imbuing the festival with an earthy essence.
Holi is not just about colors; it's a celebration of unity, love, and the triumph of good over evil. It's a time to forgive, forget grievances, and strengthen the bonds of community and friendship.
In AGRA we visited a local village for a MUGHAL HERITAGE WALK. This low resource community was selected as one of five, to take part in a Community Development Programme. This program, brings tourist dollars through to the community - which allows them to vaccinate the children and provide education, educate women and have the resources for them to give birth in hospital, and now - they are putting in a sewage system.
You would have thought the program was brand new, with every child and adult coming out to say hello. Running and waving, excited to see each and every one of us. But it turns out this program has been running for more than 10years! The excitement of seeing people come through their village is still there. And everyone wants a photo!
They also are the village that makes ‘Indian Nike and Adidas’ 😂
While the village might not look much, something you’ll take away from India is that the people are happy, they are together, they have water, they are good. Sometimes it’s hard, because we put our own expectations of housing and life on to the rest of the world - but there is something to be learnt from these beautiful people who are happy with what they have 🙏🏼💕
Hello INDIA!
We’ve had our first full day, exploring Old and New Delhi. So much to see and do 💕
Started at Jama Masjid Mosque where our matching cotton robes were quite the sight! Then it was time to weave through the streets in Tuk tuks! Whizzing through alleyways, past local markets and shops; laughing at the ‘spaghetti’ wiring and seeing the charm and character of Old Delhi.
Taking a walk through the crowded spice markets that was full of activity, before a visit to a Sikh temple that serves 60,000-100,000 meals per day.
A delicious lunch and then on to Humayan’s tomb and India Gate.
Next coffee catch up is just around the corner!
As I (Michelle) will be in India (along with 10 lucky ladies), the wonderful Helen (aka Mother Duck) will be hosting the March catch up.
Where: Gamble and Brown Kotara (Home Makers Centre)
When: Tuesday 26th March 2024, from 10.30am
What: an informal coffee catch up with great women
Cost: coffee is at your own expense but as usual we’ll have some yummy treats included from the wonderful Gamble and Brown

Next week we are setting off to India! WE CAN'T WAIT!!!

The only holiday you will regret is the one you didn't take!
On our upcoming New Zealand itinerary we have an OVERNIGHT CRUISE ON MILFORD SOUND. Our small group size allows you to spend more time, in the most spectacular areas!
Designed along the lines of a traditional New Zealand coastal trading scow to reflect the heritage of the Fiordland area, the Milford Mariner caters for visitors who enjoy comfort, combined with activity. The vessel has been purpose built to accommodate passengers in private cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Cruise the length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. The vessel explores points of interest, with plenty of time available to view waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife with the experienced nature guide on board. The vessel returns to and anchors overnight in sheltered Harrison Cove. Conditions permitting you will have the opportunity to explore the shoreline by kayak or by tendercraft.

What a 2023 we have had 🤍
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who is following along with our adventures, who has come to a morning tea and especially to everyone that has travelled with us and explored the world this year.
From volcanos, rainbows and icebergs in Iceland..
To the rolling hills of Ireland 🍀

The memories created are priceless and we can’t wait for 2024 ✈️
A belated Merry Christmas to all 🎄
We hope you had a relaxing day (and you were on Santa’s nice not naughty list!).
Was lovely to see so many of you at our December lunch - stay tuned for the next date!
Only 3 spots left to cruise the islands of Tahiti with us in 2025!
This is our first cruise itinerary in quite some time for JTW and it’s been very carefully selected to suit our needs. The ship we will be on only has 388 passengers onboard – which is quite small for a luxury ship. The staff to guest ratio is almost 1:1 – with butler service for EVERY cabin, not just the penthouse suites 😉
Being a little bigger, we have a variety of dining/entertainment onboard as well. The best of all worlds.
We’ve been able to secure a really good solo upgrade (compared to most ships that will double the cost!), or if you do choose twin – the cabins are quite spacious. Being a smaller ship, it’s never far to get outside and on deck!
Part of this cruise is also that you will get your BEVERAGES included onboard the cruise and a shore excursion in every port.
This really means there is very little to pay along the way.
Having been to Tahiti myself, a cruise is the PERFECT way to see the islands. Staying on one island, I personally find you can get a little island crazy as there isn’t too much to do on each. With a longer stay on one island, it’s a lot of ‘resort time’. But being on a cruise, we are on a different beautiful island nearly every day!
Perfect swimming weather in the lagoons, paired with a great insight into the culture of the Polynesian Islands.
We'll have 10 nights onboard, plus a night in Papeete on either end. If you would like to see the full itinerary, email [email protected] or call 1300 891100 in business hours.
Don't forget - only three spots left!
Join us for our final 2024 event, where we'll be spreading joy and cheer. This is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones, all while discussing our exciting travel options for 2024 and 2025. Don't miss out on the chance to kick off the holiday season with us!
When: Wednesday 20th December, from 12.30pm
Where: Queens Wharf Brewery, Newcastle
What: Includes a beverage on arrival, lucky door prizes* and a great time. Lunch is at your own expense (order and pay on the day)
RSVP: by Monday 18th December (or earlier please!)
*Wear your Christmas finest! A little green or a little red, a Christmas shirt or a full Mrs Santa Claus outfit if you want! We have some great ‘best dressed’ prizes for the day.
Did you get our email yesterday? It had FOUR brand new itineraries released. India in March 2024, New Zealand in September 2024, Tahiti in February 2025 and Vietnam/Cambodia in 2025.
