Day and Hourly Rates $80 per hour. $450-$750 per day in our production studio depending on hours. $600-$950 per day in larger recording studio depending on hours.

FAQ

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECORD A SONG?

The process of recording a song varies depending on the proficiency of the performers, the style of the music, and the instrumentation involved (i.e. how many instruments etc.). As a guide, for example, to produce a release quality recording, it takes around one day to record a song and around one day to mix it. Please, note that these are guidelines only, we have had plenty of well rehearsed musicians come in and record multiple songs in a day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GO OVERTIME OR DON’T FINISH WHAT I NEED TO GET DONE DURING A RECORDING SESSION?

While we will always try to gather as much information from our clients as possible to plan out your sessions realistically, sometimes, things go over time. We charge overtime rates in this instance.

DO YOU HAVE INSTRUMENTS AND AMPLIFIERS AVAILABLE TO USE?

Yes, we have an array of backline equipment available.

IS MIXING INCLUDED IN THE HIRE RATES?

It all comes down to planning. The process of producing a finished product is divided into three parts, these being; recording, editing, mixing. These are all included in the hire of the Studio. However, there needs to be time allowed for these processes to fit into your session. Whether or not, these processes can be done during your session depends on the instrumentation, number of songs, desired quality, and proficiency of the musicians/artists. We will work with you to estimate how long these processes will take, and therefore, let you know how long you will need in the Studio to get the job finished.

I HAVE MY SESSION FROM HOME THAT I WOULD LIKE TO ADD TRACKS TO OR HAVE MIXED. CAN I BRING THIS TO THE SESSION?

Yes, we have a variety of Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) platforms to work in. Alternatively, we can open your session and import the data into our preferred DAW platform, Logic.

DO YOU MASTER SONGS?

While we master some jingles and sound-bite recordings, we would always recommend the use of a third-party mastering studio and a dedicated mastering engineer for full studio production.

DO YOU PROVIDE CATERING?

We have a range of cafes and restaurants not too far away as well as a supermarket and bottle shop. We have a fridge and a coffee machine in kitchen area of the studio.
