While we're talking National Reso-Phonic and folk instruments, have a peek at this beautiful Mahogany Concert Ukulele. I know you are thinking this little number would be on the bright side sound wise.

However, it's deceptive how sweet and round sounding it is with the ability to command attention. Not unlike the mandolin we shared earlier this week, its a time machine. Come and get lost.

Among the National Resophonic stock in store we have this lovely Walnut RM-1 Mandolin. Featuring an A-style body, biscuit bridge, and vintage-style open-gear tuners, combined with modern appointments, including an intonated saddle and the comfortably radiused, extended fretboard topping the highly figured maple neck.

The body is carved from walnut, with a beautifully figured maple top. The Art-Deco cast tailpiece and antique brass parts are made exclusively for the RM-1.

Just like all the instruments coming out of the National factory, whatever else is going on in your world will disappear once you pick it up.

Aaron and his team have finished these VT and Delta Blues instruments to an impeccable standard.

Wood selection is right on point with sustainable AA Mahogany for the Delta Blues series. For the VT’s we have Sitka Spruce tops over Blackwood or Camphor Laurel back and sides.

Each instrument here features a Fenech AG-1 pickup system designed by Double Acoustics and a beautiful custom TKL case.

These need to be seen, played and heard.
