We’re just over half way through our Christmas holidays, but I just wanted to pop in to give a quick UPDATE about BOOKINGS this year.

✨Due to some changes to my (Ash) hours on the floor this year, I am fully booked on Saturdays into March, and my Fridays are booking up fast too.
So, definitely best to book well ahead of time this year.

✨I will have a waitlist available for Saturdays so please let us know if you’d like to be put on the list.

✨Otherwise you’re more than welcome to book in with one of the talented girls on the team who are all doing absolutely amazing work! We have all your colour notes on file so they’ll be able to provide you with the same amazing colours.

✨We will be getting back to your inquiries when we’re back on the 9th of Jan. In the meantime our online booking is up and running where you can check our availability, make bookings, and get an approx pricing for your services.

Hey guys, it’s about time I reintroduced myself here to any new followers who have recently joined us.

✨ My name is Ash and I’m the owner here at Rapunzel Rapunzel. I’ve been hairdressing for 18 years! (I don’t feel old enough to be saying that 🙈😅)
I started Rapunzel Rapunzel about 10 years ago in a bedroom in my house.
Back then, I built a strong clientele but I really wasn’t charging enough ( like many hairdressers do) and I ended up working crazy long hours, killing my back in the process.
5 years in I decided enough was enough, it was time to expand, get a team to help with the load of work I was managing, and move to a bigger space.
In November 2018, a dream was fulfilled and we moved into this incredible space in North Lakes.
It’s been almost 5 years since then and it’s been a wild ride that’s been equally challenging and rewarding but I wouldn’t change a thing.

✨Some of my favorite aspects of hairdressing would be all the things we specialize in here at Rapunzel Rapunzel; Blondes, lived in balayage colours and hair extensions.

✨My favorite movie genre would be rom coms although I also love a good inspirational true story.
My fave Tv shows would be Friends followed by The office and a show called Friday night lights.

✨My favorite thing about Rapunzel Rapunzel has to be my incredible team. Its a journey in finding a team that feels like they’re “your people” but we are definitely there and my team make it such a joy to come to work everyday. 💖

We missed getting a before picture from this colour correction 😩😭😅 but how amazing did it turn out? 💗 we stared with a yellow/orange blonde base colour which had been lightened from a previous red base colour. We managed to clean it up and take April back to a natural blonde. It’s still a work in progress but we have a great base to work with now and can focus on strengthening and treating her hair while maintaining a more natural and manageable blonde. ☺️💗

We had a Barbie them day today. So much pink 💖 what should our next theme be?

Hi guys, I’m Tahlia and I wanted to introduce myself to our followers.

✨I’m 15 years old and am currently enrolled in a fast track hairdressing apprenticeship. ✂️

✨ My favorite thing about hairdressing so far is making people feel pretty when I colour and style their hair. 💆🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

✨ I really love old school music, like from the 70’s through to the 2000’s

✨ My favorite genre is comedy and I love sit coms and shows like Big bang theory.

✨ What I love most about working at Rapunzel Rapunzel is the positive team environment and energy. I love how we’ve all got each others back. 💖

Hi guys, I’m Kim, I’m 16 years old and a first year apprentice here at Rapunzel Rapunzel.

⚡️A fun fact about me is that I can speak a little bit of Russian & Japanese.

⚡️And I am the second youngest of 6 kids.

⚡️I do also love working and I have 3 jobs, but in my spare time I love going to the gym and cooking 🧑‍🍳

⚡️My favorite movie genre is Horror

⚡️A few things I love about working at Rapunzel Rapunzel is getting to talk to people & forming relationships with all the beautiful clients.

Today was Ash’s last day in the salon with us. 🥲
We will miss her so much!
Ash, we all love you! We are so proud of you and are inspired by everything you have achieved over the past few years.
Ash started with us when she was just 15 years old. She’s now 18 and in that time completed her fast track apprenticeship and has worked as a senior hairdresser with us.
She is now moving onto the next step in her journey and is taking some time to study.
Ash we wish you all the best and all our love as you move into this next adventure. It has been a pleasure working with you. We know you won’t be a stranger ☺️ see you soon 💗

Hey guys, I’m Lauren and I wanted to share a little bit about myself to our clients & followers.

✨I’m 22 years old and in my second year as an apprentice.

✨ I love fashion. My favorite stores for work outfits are Ghanda & cotton on.

✨I have a little nephew that I’m obsessed with so in my spare time I love hanging out with him and my partner.

✨I am one of 6 siblings so I find it easy to get along with lots of the different personalities within the team and also our clientele.

✨My favorite genre series is true crime.

✨My favorite part of hairdressing so far is foiling. I also love the big impact of a good transformation, taking people from one colour to another.

✨My favorite part of working at Rapunzel Rapunzel is the people and also the working hours.

⚡️A couple of fun facts about me are that I was born in America and moved to Australia when I was 3 years old. I have a black belt in martial arts 🥋 And I recently went skydiving for my 18th birthday 🪂

⚡️In my spare time I like to hang out with family and go on adventures with my best friend Tamryn, (yes we work together too 👯‍♀️)
