Our 3RM Testing is back πͺπͺπͺ
As mentioned it is important to look at % over KG when benchmarking!
Over the past few weeks we have worked towards improving our big compounds. The programming designed with progressive overload to ensure our development in Bench Press, Back Squat and Deadlift however this doesnβt always mean we see huge jumps in weight on the bar !
Improvement can be seen as:
-Improved range of motion
-Better control of the load
-Increase in load
As we get closer to reaching our maximum lift the increments that will increase on the bar will start to get smaller. A better way to look at your increases would be by % over KG, this is why we have the smaller plates available to you 1.25KG & 2.5KG π
e.g if you are lifting 50KG and add 5KG that is a 10% increase which is quite a jump in weight versus 2.5KG being a 4% increase which is far more realistic if you are aiming for that new PB π€©
Another thing to note, some of you would have achieved PBβs in the last couple of weeks which is a HUGE WIN π₯
If you can match this weight you are still kicking goals bc a two week turn around after achieving a PB doesnβt always result in another PB
Few tips and tricks before 3RM testing:
-Ensure you are getting a good nights rest
-Having a nutritious meal
-Stay hydrated
-Warm up (which we will help with)
-Increase rest time between sets as your load increases
You all have amazing form and have put the hard work in π time to celebrate the gains and keep striving for more next week !!!

There will also be a few goodies for members who give 110% and show the trainers they stop at nothing to unleash there limitless potential and encourage others to do the sameπ€©
