Love my job 🥰🥰🥰 Look at this little champ who is now exclusively breastfeeding after arriving early at 31/40. Mum pumped for 6 months, now after lots of patience & persistence when the time was right for her & bub is successfully breastfeeding 🙌🙌🙌

When River died, a very special midwife called Mark spent some time with us. He held River, held us.. And made sure River wasn't left alone before he was taken to the coroner.

Mark made the world of difference to us in that moment.

When I was having River and my 2nd and 3rd children, some very special midwives - Sarah (River), Chloe (Bodhi), Karen (Shiloh) and Amba (Shiloh), supported us through the highs and lows of pregnancy and made sure I knew my strength when it came to delivering River and our precious rainbows. With Shiloh and Bodhi the fear was relentless but the midwives helped, no end, to settle nerves and wipe tears.

Midwives have a number of roles and many will have experienced the devastating losses through childbirth and postnatally. A role filled with the highest of highs and lowest of lows, today, we say thank you. 💙
