Nothing beats this, surely? Ripping the throttle wide open and getting nicely tucked in down the main straight at last weekend's ASBK round at Morgan Park Raceway.

And that's a wrap on this weekend's ASBK - Australian Superbikes at Morgan Park Raceway.

Today the Proworx Racing team and I came home with a 11-16 result, which handed us 14th overall for the round, thanks to our 13th place finish in yesterday's first race.

The weekend went pretty average to be honest.

Starting from last on the grid was pretty difficult to try and get my way through the field, this was due to unfortunately being taken out in qualifying two on Saturday.

I pulled up very sore on Sunday morning with a tight neck. Race two was okay, however, I struggled a bit to get through the field, but I was happy with the result.

The last race today I got an average start. I had to fight to get to the pack in front of me, then I was held up for the majority of the race.

I finally got in front of those slowing me down and started my chase of the front group ahead. I unfortunately made a mistake going into turn two, which pushed me back down the order.

Overall, it was a frustrating weekend. But that's racing. It is what it is. I'm just grateful for the opportunity this weekend ✌️

Where do I start... I had an up and down day, but it was very good to bring home a decent result for the Proworx Racing team in race one here at Morgan Park Raceway.

After starting from 22nd on the grid, we managed to come home in 13th place, which is not to bad, considering how tough the Australian Championship is.

Thanks to the team for getting the bike fixed up in time for the race.

I'm excited to see what we can do tomorrow in races two and three.

Well, unfortunately, qualifying two didn't go to plan. I crashed early in Qualifying two, which meant I was unable to get good time under my belt.

Will start out of 22nd spot on the grid. Hopefully we can get the Proworx Racing fixed in time for race one later this afternoon.

And that's a wrap on day one here at Morgan Park Raceway for round five of the ASBK.

The Proworx Racing team and I had a good start to the day. We used the first session to just simply find our 'feet' and get a feeling with the bike.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, and there was no real point going out in the wet weather, as we were not going to achieve anything. So, we ended the day in 18th place with a time of 1min28.526.

We have a bit of work to do in Qualifying one tomorrow morning, but I'm sure we will find a decent setup which will suit me.

Finally back racing in the ASBK - Australian Superbikes Championship!

Thanks to Ben Angelidis from Freestyle Tattoo Studio for organizing the ride on the Proworx Racing for this weekend at Morgan Park Raceway.

Can't wait to mix it up on track in the Australian Championship.

We got 2 days testing in and I couldn’t be happier with our progress as a team first time riding at Sydney Motorsport Park and my first time onboard an aprillia rs660 and I loved the experience.
