ELITE STREET CLASSICS
Restorations, maintenance and modifications to Australian classics. Why are we doing this?
The short answer is that we love seeing classic cars cruising the streets; whether it be Sunday drives down the coast, club meets or driven daily to work. Most classic car enthusiasts just want to be able to turn the key and go for a drive. But for many, the joy of their classic car can be overshadowed by the following problems. Big day for the 55.. registration day ๐๐ป always excited for my great customers to finally get out and use and enjoy these things!! #55
Sneak peek at the hg premier coming together nicely, canโt wait to show you all this one when itโs finished ๐๐ป
EH wagon air con is now all complete, first time using a 12volt compressor and has come up good. Almost ready to fire up it for the first time. Itโs amazing how much time goes into what looks like a simple Holden six trimatic combo when your doing everything properly. These things are hard to get much fan on but Iโve done everything to get all the airflow possible. Thanks to Geoff at Dandenong north auto air for the hose work ๐๐ป #202
The 202 build has come along nicely and is now back in its home in the eh wagon pics to come soon.. going to be killer. I donโt build engines much anymore as Iโm too busy with all the builds on the go but really enjoyed building another little Holden 6 ๐๐ป
You know youโve got a little car nut on your hands when all your 4 year old wants for bed time story is advanced custom painting techniques by Jon Kosmoski ๐๐ฅฐ
So chuffed for my great customers John and Eleni their mercury cyclone won best muscle car award at the Geelong revival this weekend, so good to see the cars I spend so much time and thought on getting used and enjoyed ๐๐ป love it guys #393
66 mercury cyclone 3โ hand fabโd exhaust upgrade from the press bent mig welded 2 1/4โ mess . The 393 can now breath easy ๐ช๐ป # exhaust
Tough little Holden six in the build prepping for the yella terra 12 port head on the red block, almost ready for assembly. Going to be a great engine in the eh wagon itโs going into
55 f100 exhaust coming along finished up to over the diff and run to see how loud the big block is through the two magnaflows.. itโs too loud ๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ป so will have to add some more mufflers at the rear. #1955
It is a privilege to do what you truely love for amazing people who have so much trust in what we do with their pride and joy. So happy for Mel and Dave and the van that is so special to them. Makes all the thought and time that goes into these cars truely worthwhile and rewarding and to get a win at the van nationals 2023 the cherry on top. Cars like this donโt happen without good tradesman so a shout out to Damian and also Rowan for the panel and paint. So good ๐ #383
Icengineworks modelling blocks makes the job of running pipes much easier ๐๐ป nearly all done on the 55 f100 stainless 4 into 1โs
Havenโt posted in a long time sorry guys, the car Iโve been busy on I canโt post pics of until Motorex this coming May.. but trust me it is worth the wait!๐
Hereโs some progress pics of custom stainless headers for a bbf in a 55 f100. Massive time goes into stainless headers due to the back purging setup required and the added complexity that brings. Should look killer in the satin black bay!
Bit of upgrade work on a rare 66 mercury cyclone nascar themed cruiser. Upgraded the tired old 302 clevo to 393, beefed up C4 and 3800 converter. Custom 4 into 1 headers and a little exhaust work to make it a little nicer. And a new custom radiator package by race radiators. Thing is ๐๐ป #393
Itโs a rare thing to spend the time and money on these builds demand and not want to move them on! No amount of money will I ever part with this car ๐
Always late to the show these days ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ best cars are usually in the car park anywayโs ๐ Monbulk car show 2022.
51 F100 in for full custom stainless exhaust and header modifications with race coatings then applied. Customer wanted it a bit louder with a better note to the 351 Windsor so designed a twin 2.5โ system with H pipe incorporated with flowmaster hushpower 2 mufflers.
Killa day for a cruise with the misso for a quick lunch in the XM ๐ thing is so good since fitting the race radiators cooling package ๐๐ป Merry Christmas everybody!!
Tuff 426 hemi Cuda came in for clutch issues in the tko 5 speed and tune problems with the 770 holleyโs, a lot of time was spent drilling out fixed jets and tapping for replaceable jets to take it from eye watering pig rich to clean and lean pulling much stronger. Also modified the cooling system to work properly and incorporated a return reservoir hidden under the battery tray by chopping up a hq bottle and plastic welding it all back together.
Final pics of hk gts exhaust all finished up kept nice and tight and high out of sight full stainless tig welded and purged with argon.
Xp pano finally running great after chasing uneven mixtures and tuning issues for some time with a swap out of the old school dual plane and Holley for an edelbrock air gap manifold and edelbrock avs2 carb running perfect right out of the box on the mildly modified 302 complementing the recent radiator upgrade setup from race radiators. Ready for spring cruising ๐๐ป๐
Initial progress shots of the hk gts lsa air box and intake tract from a cardboard template to metal. All this will be coated satin black to complement the bay theme.
Hk gts exhaust coming together, custom 1 3/4โ 4 into ones with hand made collectors, into 3โ stainless exhaust will be 4 mufflers tucked up tight under the floor as the customer wants this one fairly quiet and comfortable. Flanged the front mufflers so they can be removed if a little more noise is necessary ๐ช๐ป
Tubbed HK Monaro with LSA and front end๐
Before it gets sent for paint, we are fabricating a full stainless steel exhaust system, custom headers, custom fuel system and all the little things that will make it go, stop and steer.
