Calling all 12-17-year-olds! Learn to drive in a controlled, safe environment with the Pakenham Auto Club, as our expert instructors guide youngsters through an introduction to the art of driving.

It is on again, our first Come and Try for 2023

SUNDAY 29 JANUARY 2023

Aimed at new drivers aged 12-17, participants will learn the basics of competing in a Motorkhana, and car control basics (including moving off, stopping, handling a vehicle and safety checks). Students will also learn the differences in driving techniques and the impact of smooth driving flow.

Participation in the course includes:
12 months membership in Pakenham Auto Club
All instruction from multiple instructors that cover off various driving styles
Hire of both automatic and manual transmission vehicles for the session
Certificate of Participation
Motorsport Australia Speed Junior Competition License

Cost of entry is $25.00 (for Motorsport Australia Singe Day License)

Check in will commence at 8:30
Drivers Briefing at 9:00am
Driving will commence at 9:30
Finish at 11:00

The Come and Try will be followed by a Motorkhana in the afternoon. If you feel confident, your new license and club membership allows you to enter and compete using your new found skills.
