WOW, I feel overwhelmed by the response, well wishes and memories shared.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to reply to the rest of the comments before the Gazette limited comments on that post.

So let me say a massive THANK YOU!

It is a bitter sweet moment for myself as I say goodbye to a massive part of my life that has brought me so much joy, satisfaction and personal growth.

I cannot say thank you enough to the Pakenham community and all my past and present customers throughout the years.
Not only have you allowed me to share my passion for food with you all for such a long time, but you have gifted me wonderful memories to cherish.

Words will never fully express how much this has meant to me and my late mother (fondly known as nonna).

We will keep you all updated here when we have a final date, and the new owners embark on their new journey creating new memories.
