For event hair, we usually ask you to come with your hair - washed, the night before, and - dry, with no product in it, so we can layer the hair with styling products as needed. In this case! However, we did the colour 2 days before so did a preparation blowdry for this 🙌

-> For sleek styles I like to use Mr Smith Creme to really keep the pony tidy, combing it through
-> Securing the style, you can't beat Oribe Superfine Hairspray! It's super strong but a light mist that doesn't leave it feeling crunchy aswell as smelling delightful
-> Signature Shampoo & Conditioner, prepping the hair with something nourishing but not too much to way the hair down
-> Dry Texture Spray, fluffs out the way making it seem fuller, both Oribe & Mr Smith have a wonderful spray for this

I've been MIA 🙈 but I'm going to try not to be! 😬🤞
Why have I been MIA? Great question! Well..
In order of most recent to most to blame, here we go ✨️

-> the salon is closed till the 10th of Jan and has been since the 23rd, there's usually alot going on socially but this is the only time of the year that I truly feel like I get "time off" because the rest of the world does to! And I want to make the absolute most of this down time 🧘‍♀️

-> at the start of December I managed to get sick, nothing life threatening but contracted Influenza A and a bacterial which took forever to kill and turned me into an absolute zombie. I was out for 2 weeks 😱 (that's longer than I usually take holidays haha)

-> and the FINALE. I've just been so damn busy. 🤦‍♀️😵‍💫
It's a good thing really, it makes me feel successful to have appointments from start to finish so much so that I'm booked 2-3 months in advance with a cancelation list. However, I'm so busy that it doesn't leave alot of time for much else, especially updating socials and creating content, diversifying my skills, and some times even making sure each client has 120% of my undivided attention.

The last thing I ever want to sacrifice is the quality of your appointment, from experience to outcome, my career goal is to make sure that is always impeccable.

So in 2024, I want to do better and I'd love if you could please hold me accountable.
In saying that, I also want to say a massive thank you to each of my beautiful clients for always being patient, understanding and honest. I have so much love for you guys 💕💕

The rules? ⤵️
•Retouch every 4-6 weeks, with some exceptions, because longer can leave a yellowish band in the hair or needs a bigger process to avoid said band 🙈
•Lots of TLC products, things to maintain moisture & strength, protect & rebuild elasticity, etc.
•Also, careful application to avoid overlapping & friction!
•Do not over do violet or blue pigments! Less is more.

Brighter Blondes for Summer 🌞
Bright + Honey are uber on the top of the wanted list lately 🤌
In this case, avoiding heavily violet or blue based blonde cleansing + conditioning products are recommended as they will dull the blonde 😫

It was as easy as glossy over the beautiful natural copper with a slightly puncher mix for maximum glow 🌟

The cut & frizz control is a journey but with this gorgeous lady running, hiking, cycling, rowing & all sorts every day like a mad lady - we are trialing all methods for the perfect regime 🤩

I just want to tell you how much I love my job 👑 doing hair is frickin' amazing & so are all of you 👏

☆ Some times fine foils create maximum lightness but placement is always key! 🔑
☆ Hair condition is crucial to any hair service as this determines the limit, we went in with something a little more gentle to shift through old colour 🖌
☆ Budget & time are massive factors! ⏰ I can only work to your limits so a face frame & tip out is an effective buy quicker way to achieve lightness where you see it first! 👸
☆ A nice gloss for the rest of the hair or even as a final tone will still glaze all over for maximum shine because everyone deserves to feel like a diamond 💎
☆ And ofcourse, the finishing touch is always a wavy blow dry because it can be personalised to you & soft but elegant 👑
