Dementia Action Week 19th - 25th September
"A little Support makes a big Difference." This years Dementia Australia's Action Week Theme emphasizes how a little support can have a big impact on people living with Dementia, their families and their carers.

Dementia impacts close to half a million Australians and almost 1.6 million Australians are involved in their care.

People living with dementia can live active and fulfilling lives many years after diagnosis. Despite this, they often experience discrimination. Whether you are a friend, family member or healthcare professional, there are small but significant things that anyone can do to support someone living with dementia, or their families and carers.

Carers need a little bit of support too. Why not use this Dementia Action Week to celebrate a carer or share some tips for self care to show them how much you appreciate everything they do?

A little bit of support makes a big difference Dementia impacts people in different ways. Help keep the world open for people living with dementia, not just during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but every day.
