After what was an awesome (and very busy) opening weekend, here's some more of our super cool production members!!!

JASON

Jason started performing at the age of 2 and never stopped. In the last year, Jason had performed ensemble roles in School of Rock and My Fair Lady, along with the role of Squidward in the Spongebob Musical at the Regal Theatre.

Prior to this he has performed lead and ensemble roles in First Date the Musical, Thoroughly Modern Mille and Legally Blonde. Before making his foray into musical theatre, Jason worked as a professional dancer and performer in both Perth and Sydney. Working on tv shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, The X-Factor and the Voice. He has also dabbled with some work in film, having been in a national advertisement, and an internationally release feature film.

Jason met his friends in cartoon heroes over a year ago, and is extremely grateful he gets to perform with them again.

CHLOE

Chloe’s arts training comes from her years of dancing in various genres, and smaller scale high school productions. She started in the arts world at age 3 and hasn’t stopped since. Chloe has just recently finished her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Curtin University, majoring in Theatre Arts.

In the last 20+ years, Chloe has been involved on and off stage in various productions including Choreography on My Fair Lady, and Lighting Designer on School of Rock the Musical. Both 2022 productions scored Chloe a Finley nomination for the areas of lighting and choreography. She is the producer of Chlo&Co and is super excited to be bringing another entertaining cabaret performance to Fringe World Festival alongside some very talented friends.

PETER (PEAR)

(Sound Technician)

Pear has been in theatre for 26 years. Starting on stage at 17. He has Performed in over 100 productions as well as doing all aspects of backstage work for community theatre. He has since gone on to graduate WAAPA in live production, props and scenery. He has worked in London's West End as a Deputy Master Carpenter at The Harold Pinter Theatre for 3 years.

Upon returning to Perth he became the Head Mechanist at State Theatre. He is currently employed as The Head Technician at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre. While he works in Theatre, Performing his life.

With opening night tonight, it's time to announce the next three members of the team!!

TORI

Tori started her Musical Theatre passion in high school. Once she had graduated, she kept an eye out for any and every community theatre musical she could join, and along the way, made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories.

Tori is super excited to be part of the Cartoon Heroes team with her friends.

ARAMIS

Aramis began performing in High School with his debut production being Happy Days. He says "can't stop and won't stop" when it comes to performing.
After a short break, Aramis jumped right back into performing by getting involved with My Fair Lady, Legally Blonde and The SpongeBob Musical in 2022. Aramis is keen to be on stage with the team of Cartoon Heroes in 2023.

ONIESHA

Oniesha has had a passion for Theatre from a young age, and hopes to share this passion with future generations in her teaching career. Oniesha's on stage credit includes Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, multiple ensemble roles in shows including Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Heathers the Musical. Oniecha's most recent on stage appearance was the role of Mrs Puff and understudy for Pearl in The SpongeBob Musical.

When not on stage, Oniesha enjoys helping the younger generation discover their own passion for performing arts by assisting with youth theatre productions. She has loved the opportunity of working with such a talented and amazing team, and can't wait to be a part of this Fringe World Production.

Meet our first 3 cast members of Cartoon Heroes!!

ASHA

Asha is a big lover of Theatre, Marvel Movies, and spa days, She's been doing musical theatre since the age of 15, and found a deep passion for it. In the last 7 years, Asha has graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Theatre, performed in 10+ musicals and other Cabaret productions by Chlo&Co, and was recently nominated for her first Finley Award as Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for School of Rock (2022). Asha Dreams of being a super hero, as well as performing and singing, and is super grateful to be doing all that alongside her talented friends in Cartoon Heroes.

CHRISTIAN

Christian is a super duper good guy who enjoys acting and singing. When he tries his gosh darn hardest, he can really bust a move too. When he’s not acting, sing, or shaking his butt, you can find Christian reading, playing video games, and DnD-ing with friends. Christian has been performing with Chlo&Co for 2 years now and says that “each show is more fun than the last”. Catch Christian alongside Asha as our MC duo in Cartoon Heroes opening this Friday!! Be warned, Christian is not a fan of mangoes 🥭

BAILEY

Bailey has been involved with the theatrical world since 2008. He performed in his very first musical with some cast mates in Cartoon Heroes. These days you can find Bailey working full time and doing as much community theatre as he can. Cartoon Heroes is Bailey’s first fringe show and is extremely excited to perform alongside some talented individuals. He believes Christian’s opinion on mangoes is wrong.
