CLEANING the aircon filters: I love to clean the grime with lemon oil and then let them sit in warm water and a few drops of lavender oil.

It was 3:30 in the morning and I was woken by our dog pounding at the door. She was stressed and really shaken by something - I'd never seen her like this before. Her body was quivering. She was panting. Shaking and licking the door. As soon as I opened the door she nuzzled in to me and wouldn't budge.
What had happened I wondered - there was no rain, thunder or lightning, the streets seemed quiet. I did note the big beautiful full moon overhead as I scouted the back yard. Nothing seemingly out of the ordinary.
I sat with her for half an hour patting her, talking to her, made sure she had water... nothing seemed to calm her.
But then!!!! - I remembered what I use to calm me down when I'm feeling anxious; enter Lavender Essential Oil (lightbulb!)

*****IMPORTANT to remember here that with animals great caution should be taken as some essential oils are toxic to animals and any essential oils used should also be strongly diluted.

I diluted half a drop of my quality pure essential Lavender oil with 2Tbspn of coconut oil. I then massaged the mix lightly into the back of her ears with my fingertips.
Within 20 minutes our four legged girl was relaxed and this two legged girl finally got some sleep.
