Last month we grabbed some lucky JPS legends and headed to Hidden Valley for a weekend of adrenaline fuelled fun!

It was actioned packed, plenty of thrills and spills, and a great weekend of team bonding.

A big THANK YOU to Paul Sanders, Casey Gilbert, Michael Bell and Brett Dolphin for joining us. It was great to get some 1:1 time with the most important part of JPS - Our People.

🏉 Local League Legend 🏉

On a recent trip to we had the absolute pleasure to watch local league legend Chuck Norris don the JPS Jersey for an action packed game!

The Palmerston Raiders RLFC A grade team took on the Nightcliff Dragons, and whilst they didn't get the win they still had us chewing our nails till the 80th minute!

They do NRL well in the TOP end, and we are proud to be behind Chuckie and the Palmerston Raiders for their 2024 season!

For those of you who don’t know, Kirsten and Liz are both JPS superstars driving a great HSE culture out at Moomba! Their dedication to promoting safe practices and proactive approach to addressing HSE concerns is having a significant impact on site. Not to mention, they are the first to put their hands up to volunteer their time for good causes such as the RFDS Fundraiser!

Liz and Kirsten are always ready to provide support, share their expertise, and lead by example. Their efforts have not only improved safety performance across the asset, but are helping foster a culture of care and responsibility.

We are ecstatic to let our network know that JPS Management and Ex*****on have secured a multi year contract with Chevron Australia to support the planning and ex*****on of Shutdown, Clean-up and Start-up (SCS)
turnaround and campaign activities for the Gorgon LNG Facility and Wheatstone LNG Facility both Onshore and Offshore!

This is something we hold very close to our hearts with the JPS dream being born out of the Wheatstone LNG Project, and we can’t wait to get out there this year and Support Gorgon on their Major Turnaround for 2024!

It's not all hard work in the pursuit of excellence at JPS. Every now and again we like to take time out to have some fun with our team, and bringing them together from all corners of Australia. Recently we found an opportunity to do just that when we kicked off the inaugural "JPS Classic Fishing Competition". After running an JPS employee competion and hand selecting a world class crew, we got the team up to Darwin and enjoyed a magnificent day out on the water. Whilst no records were broken, the team pulled plenty into the boat and more than a few laughs were had throughout the day!

A big thanks to YKnotfishing Charters for keeping our team safe and putting us on the fish and most importantly to our team for the fun and camaraderie on the day. We can't wait for the next event!

We are super excited to welcome back Cameron Smith Smith to JPS, who is supporting PTW readiness for campaigns at APLNG!

For those of you that don't know, APLNG is an integral part of the JPS Journey. Way back in 2019 they were the first LNG operator to see the true capability of JPS, and Smithy was one of our foundation employees who helped cement our reputation at APLNG!

Fast forward 5 years, we have now performed work with every major LNG producer in Australia, and a lot of that success is due to getting our break at APLNG and having great people like Cameron representing us well!

On the back of this great work, we're proud to announce we have extended our Services Agreement for another 5 years and expanded our support to include planning and campaign readiness going into 2024.

A big THANK YOU to APLNG for believing in us, and equally as important is our team members like Smithy, who consistently set the bar and uphold JPS's commitment of delivering excellence. The future is looking bright, and we are excited for the new opportunities this expanded support will bring!

TAR502 to TAR102!

Recently, Steven Kunz was lucky enough to visit the Gorgon LNG Facility during their 2023 TAR 102 MajorTurnaround Event.

This visit was a tick off the bucket list for Kunzy, as he had longed to personally experience the asset firsthand and also a great opportunity to spend some valuable time in the field with the team.

It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces from last year's TAR 502 Turnaround, as well as some old faces from the WSLNG Project days. A big heartfelt thanks to Chevron Australia for their support and warm hospitality as well as keeping our team safe, we look forward to working with you all again in the near future.

Another ripper week over in Perth catching up with great people.

Thanks to our valued clients, and to our employees both present and future that made the time to catch up!

We met some really great people, and looking forward to bringing that talent into the JPS team.

We have some huge plans for 2023, it's shaping up to be a really exciting year!

Kicking off 2023, Steven Kunz had a quick visit to Darwin to close out some legacy scope and took it as an opportunity to catch up with these JPS legends (Chuck Norris and Matthew Greenaway) out at INPEX!

After some good conversation and a few laughs, it was time to get stuck back into the swing of things. A timely reminder for us all to look out for one another as we re-adjust back to the long days at work.

Flashback Friday....

On this day, less than 18 months (508 days ago to be exact) we mobilised our first team to ConocoPhillips Australia's APLNG asset to kick off the pre-ex*****on phase of the Train 1 Turnaround... We are forever grateful to our foundation client and employees who worked hard to deliver this successful event.

We are pumped to back out at Curtis Island in supporting the LNG assets with additional Operational resources for their major turnaround events!
JPS bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to these events, especially with Cascade®️ technology where the team have assisted our clients with the rundown, deinventory, isolation and permitting of 3 ConocoPhillips cascade trains in the last 12 months!

James brings 24 years of demonstrated Project and LNG Operational experience to JPS, having led the safe operation of Major Hazard Facilities onshore and offshore throughout Australia.

Complementing this experience, James has a diverse background in the delivery of Mega Project pre-operational readiness and assurance, Commissioning and Start-up and, optimisation of operations across greenfield and mature assets.

As the Senior Operations Advisor for JPS, James will leverage this experience to strengthen our capability, with a strong focus on providing support to LNG assets nationally.
