So we have some footage and stills coming today from under the boat. Thank you to Carlos from Subsea Hull Clean Perth for helping us out. We will addd a proper tag when we do the full post. We are a little under the pump with a backlog of footage and trying to sort out a 24/7 stream of the harbour.

We have recently been asked to clean and inspect a sea pen and a drive on dry pen , first one wouldn’t come all the way up when pumping the water out due to weight of the hard marine growth that it had.

The drive on dry pen did not have enough floatation at the stern due to the large amount of hard growth and the weight of it , when the boat was on the pen the stern was still in the wet.

These pens don’t need cleaning as often as the hulls do , but like everything Maintance is a good thing for the longevity of these , it’s good practice to get them cleaned every 6months .
