Meditation tips!

There are so many benefits to meditating but it can be hard to keep that constant stream of thoughts at bay whilst trying to find inner peace. Here are some tips we find helpful:

1. Get it done in the morning - we feel that this is the easiest time of the day to squeeze it in, especially before tackling whatever life has to throw at you

2. Try different locations - keep it interesting and try meditating on a bush walk or down by the beach

3. You don't have to sit with your legs crossed - position yourself however you feel comfortable (personally i like to lay flat on my back)

4. Set the scene - we like to diffuse relaxing and grounding oils such as sandalwood, vetiver and lavender to create the perfect peaceful environment

5. Keep it short and sweet - especially when starting out meditating (or if you're busy) just aim for achievable time periods - aim for five minutes and then do less or more if you feel comfortable

We have gained some new followers lately so thought it was a good time to introduce ourselves.

We are a small team based in Perth who have a passion for essential oils. We specialise in our hand-made blends and products that have all been created with love and intention. We value pure and natural essential oils and work primarily with Australian businesses and like to keep our relationships as local as possible. We ensure all of our essential oils are of high quality and 100% pure & natural (no hidden nasties).

We like to share our knowledge on essential oils with all of our followers, including tips for use and recipes. It is our dream to encourage more people to incorporate essential oils into their daily lives and enjoy all of the amazing benefits they can offer.

It's hard to get motivated to get outdoors in winter,
it's not uncommon to suffer from a bought of the 'Winter Blues'.
