This week Roberto’s discovers the “Barbera” grape.

Barbera is the third most planted grape in Italy. It originates from the region of Piedmont.

Barbera is a medium bodied wine that has low tannins, good acidity and has a noticeable fruit profile with aromas of red and black fruits.

Barbera pairs smoothly with tomato dishes like pizza and pasta.
