Weekend Course with Marek Rosinski

Marek Rosinski, student of Lama Ole Nydahl, will be holding 4 lectures at the Perth Diamond Way Buddhist Centre from Friday 19 - Sunday 22 October.

Marek has been practicing Diamond Way Buddhism since 1992. He has travelled with Lama Ole and Hannah in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Marek has two daughters and has worked in a global law firm for many years.

Rob Sok, student of Lama Ole Nydahl, will be holding 4 lectures at the Perth Diamond Way Buddhist Centre from Friday 8 - Sunday 10 September.

Rob is a long time student of Lama Ole Nydahl and has been teaching Diamond Way Buddhism for over 20 years. Together with his wife he came to Australia from the Netherlands in 1999 and they both have lived in Canberra ever since.

This is a great opportunity if you are wanting to learn about Buddhism or be inspired by Buddhist timeless teachings!!

Please join us for a very special week of teachings and meditations at the Perth Diamond Way Buddhist centre!

The 365 Tour is the continuation of Lama Ole and Hannah's world teaching tours around the world. For 40 years, they traveled tirelessly around the world meeting students, giving teachings, setting up centres and connecting with people, which resulted in about 650 Diamond Way centres & groups set up around the world.

It is in our Vajrayana tradition to travel to get precious teachings, and meet with friends and sangha around the world! Whilst Lama Ole is no longer traveling as he did before, we are continuing with this tradition. In February and March 2023, the 365 Tour is coming to New Zealand and Australia!

The theme of this tour is the History of Diamond Way in Australia. In Perth, we will have panel teachings, meditation and spend time together from Monday 6 - Sunday 12 March.

We would love for you to join one or any of the sessions. It will be a great way to get to know us, learn about our history, and hear from our amazing local teachers.

Lecture on Meditation

Buddhist Teacher Peter Lahucsky, student of Lama Ole Nydahl, will give a lecture on meditation, at the Perth Diamond Way Centre. If you didn't get the chance to see him a few weeks ago, you have another opportunity!

Meditation is a major part of our Diamond Way practice. Meditation means "effortlessly remaining in what is." Our meditations bring awareness and develop inner qualities such as wisdom and compassion.

Buddhist meditation is a precise tool of working with the mind. Its goal is to free one's mind from all limitations and to fully develop all its perfect qualities, especially fearless wisdom, spontaneous joy and active compassion.

Diamond Way meditations employ either identification with perfect qualities of mind - we melt with their symbolic, enlightened forms, or deep concentration and watching the inner states of mind and the mind itself which experiences them.
In meditation we engage our body, speech and mind. Regular practice makes everything we experience more interesting and fresh, and activity for the benefit of others becomes more and more natural and spontaneous.

The lecture starts at 7:30 pm.

Peter was born in 1970 in Miskolc, Hungary. He met Lama Ole in 1988 and took refuge then. He is currently living in the Budapest and lived in the Budapest Diamond Way Buddhist center for 5.5 years.

Peter has been a Diamond Way Buddhist Travel Teacher since 1992, has translated for Lama Ole in Hungary from 1993-2018, and translated 3 books for Lama Ole into Hungarian.

He has taught in: France, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Lithuania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Austria, England, Greece, Ukraine, Denmark, Russia, Venezuela, Columbia, Peru, Germany, Scotland and USA.
