Yesterday our senior and founding partners paid a courtesy call to former Federal Court judge Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram at his chambers.

Sri Ram is arguably the most renowned and respected counsel in the country being the only lawyer to be parachuted directly to the Malaysian Court of Appeal despite not having served first as a Judicial Commissioner and High Court Judge.

He later ascended to the nation’s apex court where he delivered some of Malaysia’s most groundbreaking legal precedents relied on today by constitutional law experts and Justices across the country in delivering their own judgments.

Upon retiring from the bench, Sri Ram resumed his private practice and now continues to serve as a Deputy Public Prosecutor.

We are honoured to have Sri Ram accept briefs as a one time mentor to our founder and managing partner in the 90s.
