For three long hard years I have worked tirelessly to create a culture built on respect, equality and inclusivity.

I won’t lie, it hasn’t been easy.

Reflecting on Swish’s early days brings back many emotions, we have done some amazing things and will continue to do so each and everyday.

Building a community like Swish means you have to give everything you have and this is exactly what I am doing, then a pandemic comes along and you find yourself questioning everything only to realise what we have created together could be just a grain of sand waiting to be washed away at any second and that is quite sad to say the least.
Nevertheless Swish is still here, and we will continue to do what Swish does best.

We are proud to have fostered many amazing relationships within our humble community but now it’s time to draw that line in the sand.
As of tomorrow (31st January) we are required by law to see proof of double vaccination against Covid 19 for all members of our community who choose to dine in with us.
However, our takeaway service is welcomed for both vaccinated and or non vaccinated members of our community as per normal.

To keep things easy and flowing, we will have posters at both of our entries outlining what we have mentioned above.

I understand the circumstances we find ourselves in and believe me, I don’t appreciate doing someone else’s dirty work.
All I ask of our community is please consider these circumstances as unique and leave your opinions at the door.

Let’s all remember to treat each other with respect and kindness, and remember… when you find your people, you find your purpose.

Join us on Thursday 27 May to raise much needed funds for the Australian Cancer Council.
For just $5 grab yourself one of Mumma Erin’s cupcakes and a cup of tea or batch brew and feel good knowing your money is going to a great cause.

Unfortunately, Covid19 caused a $9.6 million dollar shortfall of funds raised from Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in 2020, meaning less funding for cancer research, community prevention programs, and vital support services for people impacted by cancer.

That’s a 76% drop in funds!

All donations will fund the Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention and support programs and because of your participation, this work can continue!
Donations boxes will be out this Monday if you would like to contribute before the event or are unable to make it this Thursday. You can scan QR codes around our store, tip cash into our donation box or click the link provided in our bio to make donations.

Swish has set a goal of raising $1,000 and we would love your support in smashing it!
